Hi Power Republic. At 8 minutes into the video, you have a bottom graph that represents the time diff between the 2 laps. How did you get that graph up? Thanks.

there is a little Icon on the top right icon bar. it looks like a little clock and is the 'time/dist' button. once you have two sessions loaded up, hit that button and you're on!

Hey there, do you know how to compare your sectors at the end of a session on the mychron 5 to know what lap times you got the best sectors on?

sure do, its a feature of the unit. continue pressing the 'MEM' button on the top right of the dash after you have completed a session. it should show you your lap time, rolling lap time and theoretical lap time with the splits and lap numbers. hope that helps

you can re-do the sectors when you make the track map. first - clear all, second - cut track into the sector sizes you choose. Done

Thanks for the helpful video Short question. I have a used one but i don't see the watertemperature in my display although the sensor is installed in the head of the Rotax Engine. Should i see the temperature immediately after the sensor makes contact with the water? Thanks a lot in advance.

Great idea, I don't have them yet. A customer has all the throttle and brake sensors so I might be able to grab some data from him and do and analysis video on that.

Hey Derek, we have just put a restrictor on my rotax 125 senior max non evo. How much slower am i going to be going with the restrictor on it now compared to it being unrestricted?

Normally it will knock off about 5 KPH of top speed and add about 2 seconds a lap at Ipswich Kart Track which is 1000 meters long

Do you HAVE to use a computer, or could a tablet do this job?? Also will it work without a computer, but with the data logs not accessable?? Are there other functions lost also if no pc??

Yeah mate for racestudio analysis you will need a PC. Not really. It will tell you the basics but all the comparisons and track sector breakdowns

Hey John, great question, I use the Mychron power cable on our rotax engines. it will shorten the battery life a bit more however I like the convenience and just charge my battery more often.
