Chris, I so hope you check your comments! :) I am so glad I found your channel! I have loved what I am learning so far about KNF, but have been frustrated by what seems to be limited or incomplete information out there. I see lots of videos from you and other people about how to make different recipes, but I have only found brief (and really un-applyable) summaries on the theory behind the "when, where what and how" to apply those recipes. I am a budding farmer and I am desperate to learn more and was excited to find some books on Master Cho's website. But the descriptions are poorly written, and so it is hard to distinguish the differences. Would you be willing to suggest which book or books would be best to buy to gain the most comprehensive knowledge of the KNF system? For your convenience the books are as follows: "Natural Farming"- Cho Han-kyu, "Natural Farming Agricultural Materials"-Cho Ju-Young, "Basic Manual"-Kim CS Chang, and lastly, "Jadam Organic Farming"-Youngsang Cho. Also, would you be able to make book suggestions for learning more comprehensive info for livestock applications? It is not lost on me how busy you are... so I truly thank you for any time you might be able to take to help give me some direction. Thanks! Keith

I was SO waiting this video! After over a year trying to learn KNF, this season I'll finally have lots of inputs (most of them), and in all this time you've been the most useful and reliable source of info. And now chicks? Thanks Master Trump and mahalo from my little hens they'll love their new home.

Can you harvest the broken own bedding over time for compost fertility, material, and biology from this? We mainly want to have chickens for geoff lawton's chicken compost system as well as to patrol our house along with the cats for snakes. We have no interest in eating eggs or chicken products, but just want them on the farm for the addition of biology and side benefits. Do you have any thoughts or tips on that?

Hey Chris, hoping you get to see this; couple questions, is this coop design applicable to a coop built against another structure? i.e., a garage. Also, does the overall dimension of the coop affect the design’ ability to circulate air within the coop? Thanks and blessings to you and your family.

Dear Chris. How many cm of purch fo you advive per bird. If I do the math I get to about 10 to 12 cm which seems so little. Also the floor space per bird comes down to about 0,2 to 0,1 m2. I would appreciate if you could break down these numbers a bit.

Can you use wood chips instead of straw? Also, with the roof, do you put the clear roof panels only on the north side like how you showed it, or does that apply to both the north and south side? And is it 30% clear panels for the whole roof or only on one side of the roof? Thank you.

Hi Chris. Why does higher the roof with the light provision need to be on the north side. In my area, the sun is inclined more on the southern side, that iscit iscnot in the centre. Does my chicken coop roof still need to have the light facility on the northern roof?
@thombaz
@thombaz 6 ай бұрын
I think he lives on the Southern hemisphere. So for someone living on the Northern hemisphere the taller roof side needs to face south. To be clear your taller roof with the clear parts alwasy needs to face to the direction of the Equator. But we need a clear answear as I am not 100% sure about this.

I think I am wrong, I re-watched and he said the shorther side is caching most of the sun. Now I have no idea how it should be built.

I even was told master cho’s son wrote the other book but I thought I heard read you say the families aren’t connected I’m a rookie but am really confused by the info being spread please help?
@biomei.solutions
@biomei.solutions 6 жыл бұрын
Yeah man, I didn’t say those things :) you are king on your farm use what you like. It is all natural Farming (KNF & JADAM). They both have strengths. Cho YoungSang is Master Cho’s son (the Creator of JADAM). It’s all tools for the farmer. There are differences, and though some JADAM things are faster they miss some of the benefits of the careful care that KNF has. IMO4 is the best amendment for the farm, JMS is faster and far easier and still very good. JADAM pesticide is better than any pest stuff KNF has, but with KNF done well (takes practice and time) I don’t think you will need pesticides (we don’t). This is a big conversation, I won’t speak more, but feel at peace and farm with confidence :)

Chris Trump ok thank you Chris I will not speak of it either I’m just trying to get the info correct. I’m sorry but I’ve been watching your videos and reading a lot of comments and reply’s and maybe it was long ago but you did say the things I asked but I’m at peace thank you respect and bless up. I may of misunderstood you could you of suggested the two not be learned together and one should know they are different and not intertwine the two per say? I believe this is my confusion. Thanks for helping me on my natural way. I appreciate all you are doing and in no way calling u out an honest misunderstanding.

If I get it right you live on the south side of the hemisphere. So by North facing you mean faceing to the sun, and for someone living on the North side, like Europe, thats means the South facing part is the higher with the clean parts of the roof. Am I right?
