Thank you so much for addressing chronic illness in the crafting industry. I’ve been dealing with rheumatoid arthritis for over 40 years and you ladies have brought chronic illness to of the forefront. It’s refreshing to have someone be honest about their struggles share what works for them. You’re both an inspiration I hope to take some of your advice to my craft room. I’m sure I will find things that will make my life easier. Keep up the great work with your Podcasts!! I enjoyed each and everyone of them. You both are very professional and have a way of engaging your audience that keeps me looking forward to the next episode!

You "girls" (I'm 68) came up in my feed and although I no longer work or run a small business, I've been struggling for 2 years to get back into my crafting after cancer surgery on top of multiple chronic illnesses and lifelong chronic pain. I've got so many projects, new crafts to learn and regular cards and gifts for family to get to (from last year!). For example, I haven't given my granddaughter her last July's birthday present yet, or Christmas presents ('23) for a number of my children and grandchildren - not done :( So thanks for reminding me to use a schedule to pace myself, take regular breaks and move - I do have to lie down regularly, pivot (lol), stop chastising myself for being lazy, and accept I have better days and worse days (I don't cope with that very well). Instead of a mountain to climb, I can look forward to being creative again and learning some new crafts. I have a cricut and did 2 courses, but cannot use design space very well to do what I want. I can no longer cart the heavy machine and supplies to any more lessons and online tutorials don't necessarily help. Thanks again for this useful video.

I watch the replay, I feel very inspired to try a small business, despite having chronic anemia. I loved to learn more from you both. I too didn’t have very good health experiences until I moved PNW and found two amazing female doctors that listened to me. Thank you, both I feel understood! ❤❤

I have Addisons which is very rare it took 12 yrs to get diagnosed. I also get brain fog. Actually a lot of my symptoms are similar to fibromyalgia and many other illnesses that’s y it took so long to get diagnosed. Stress can literally kill me. Addisons is basically my adrenal glands do not work. So doing things a head of time is my life most of the time lol I love spoon theory too.

My Rhummie is FABULOUS!! But I live in Denver, a big city with more choices. Also, it helps that she is young (my age) and treats fibro like it's not some 'in your head' illness.
