26:44 Technically, here there was indeed a single good play that would have saved the game, but trust me when I say I PERFECTLY understand what you mean. Because of how plotting works, the correct play was to cast Lightning Helix on the very first Slickshot showoff, followed by Temporary Lockdown the turn after. This still DOESN'T change the fact that the shuffler and the matchmaking algorhithm should stop getting in the way this much as soon as someone makes an off meta deck. Cool deck, I really like it!

i don't understand why wizards manipulate everything tho, i would rather play games where i draw bad but random starter hands then have multiple 30 second games because im just getting stomped by mono red all the time and the shuffler thinks i only need 2 tap lands and 3 of the same 5 mana spell.

I love the idea of high noon but so far I haven't seen it get much use. I think because it feels like it only works in a total control deck. But I think we will see some really interesting technical plays with it. For example, place it turn 2 and slowly build all the pieces to a big combo engine, then destroy it with something like get lost to give yourself the map tokens and free yourself for a massive play that wins the game.

i just made this deck, first game played with it, im in love already, this deck is disgusting, my opponent (kudos to him) fought to the end, but he spent most of the game not playing anything becuse i just countered everything, then exiled the rest, and i was just beating him down with the Restless Anchorage lol, Zurgo didnt arrive until like turn 10 , and only because i went looking with Teferi, i totally agree with one point you made, why does noone play these cards, they are so good,

Cool build. I’ve been playing a similar deck built around Zurgo and High Noon since the card released 🙂 I leant more into control using Interceptor (if you know then you know 😉). The biggest problem is consistency. If you in the play with HN in hand I just smiled the whole game. But if no HN in hand i knew it was trouble … on the draw against aggro and must say the win rate is garbage. I’ll say this for any interested in this deck, win rate is not that great but it’s a lot of fun for a “island-pass” style player 😈

Ps. Also drop celestus. It’s not worthwhile if you think about it … card can’t trigger back to day once high noon in play 😉 there’s another 3 mana rock called bandits haul which slays in this deck given to commit crimes each time you counter 😊

Sheoldred's Edict doesn't commit a crime, I had someone try it against me with an outlaw heavy deck and it didn't trigger anything

I will eternally throw out some love for Doorkeeper Thrull, noone is ready for it and if you don't draw that high noon it is just fine as a one of floating around to break up the occasional nonsense.

I tried this deck a few times. Most of the time got mana screwed. Red aggro just crushed this deck so hard. Two Teferis in hand, GG. Teferi is completely useless. It does absolutely nothing. Wondering Emperor atleast exiles a creature and gains life. Teferi is just a dead card when it enters. Ojutai and High Noon are pretty good, though. Maybe I just had really shitty luck. Gotta try without Teferi and more Helixes etc.

You should mulligain more if you have problems, not every hand is always a keep :)

@@MasterOfMonoBlack Guess so... I actually got it working a bit better. Replaced one plains with a red/white pain land and Teferis with 1 extra Helix and 2 Stoic Sphinxes. So if other people are trying this deck and having issues with a useless Teferi on the board, try these changes.

Teferi is super good, it gives you two life, ramp, and card selection, why you hating on the bro 😆

@@MasterOfMonoBlack For some reason it just has never worked for me when I've tried to keep him in the deck. Teferi, Time Raveler, on the other hand would be absolutely amazing. If the tapped creature would stay tapped then it would be pretty nice (like Tamiyo).
