I had a supervisor say something nasty (untrue) things about me that got back to me, and to be truthful it hurt and I felt very insecure after that. I reacted in the wrong way and it reflected very poorly on me. If I had just said "Well okay it's not my business what they said" I wouldn't have felt so bad about myself. I have learned someone's insecurity will cause them to be harsh and cruel to other people. The supervisor had only said those things because HE was insecure. I love that you mentioned in your own words, that if someone is being unkind to you, it's not really ever about you.

It’s hard to see or hear negative things about yourself, especially from those who don’t know you. I liked your story of when you were a kid, we should reclaim that childlike innocence where we just don’t care. As long as we are good people and we don’t hurt anyone, the rest shouldn’t matter to us as long as we are happy ❤️❤️❤️

Paul Anka has a song that I listened to well over 30 yrs. ago. , where the lyrics say “People will always talk. I don’t care, do you? Smaller minds you’ll always find have nothing else to do”. I live by this quote. When I heard you talk about us all wanting to be in a pack, and what do we do when we feel rejected-this 62 yr. old starts a new pack! Keep bringing these issues to life-I love your talks!

Thank you so much for this! A couple of weeks ago, I decided to post my first KZbin video. The number one reason that I didn’t start making videos several years ago was that I was so afraid of the negative comments. I finally just got over it and thought that I should focus on myself and not worry about what other people have to say.

Most of the advice I've found on the subject (yes, I've searched!) say "People don't think about you`' or "You don't know them, so it doesn't matter" which are true some times, but not always. Others say "go on and block them", or "delete the comment" but for me, this doesn't work. You basically start a war and you'll have to defend yourself a-lot! The point is we can only control how we react to any negativity. When people are unnecessarily mean, sure, shows their problems, but how much it affects us shows the work we need to do with ourselves. Exactly like you said. No need for an attitude, but "at the end of the day" when you're ok with your decisions, goals, and yourself, people's ideas don't mean that much... 💕

After some personal observations, I've noticed one important thing: negative comments are not about you. Those people who are trying to be mean are relly unhappy, and they need to spread this unhappiness. Of course, it's easier to do it online when you can hide behind a comment section and not look into the person's eyes. I always feel sorry for such people.

This is a very touchy subject for me, so funny.....I still remember the days back in the old school KZbin years, when KZbin was not such a well developed business platform but more like a free chat room where you could just chat away with anybody and most people would simply reply with whatever they wanted to say to you, it was pure anarchy and chaos back then ha ha ha ha, I remember...... People used to actually get super angry at times! I even saw people threaten each other's lives and they used really really abusive language on each other, I got into funny arguments from time to time, even I, lol. Now it's different and I realized why, KZbin is a business platform. You don't come here to spew your hatred anymore, at least not in the way most people also wouldn't walk into a Starbucks and start yelling nonsense, racial slurs and all kinds of silly things at anybody XD XD........I say all this because I used to visit a website very frequently, years ago, a site where all those trolls and racist people go to nowadays, yikes! What a dump of a site! lol. Websites like that helped me soo much though, I grew a thicker skin which I might need at times, when facing trolls for my new KZbin channel. That website was my anti cyber bullying school. I can take abuse from anybody, doesn't hurt me anymore :).......But then again, I don't really need to worry about actual trolls, my actual concern is how to make my channel work and make a little extra money, that is the actual worry, nothing more, make a little money first yes, then learn to expand and grow, there is no other way....

Great points! But I think you missed one, which is that yes, everyone will not always agree about everything, but disagreeing about something is not negativity. Usually the negativity and problems lie in HOW people choose to express disagreement or opinions. As you mentioned, there are alot of losers in the world, especially online, who just bash people, and they really aren't worth giving the time of day. THAT behavior is negativity. But there are respectful, positive ways to disagree about something or to give criticism. It seems like alot of people associate a disagreement as being negative, and I'm not sure if you do, so I wanted to point out the difference. :)
@tabithasuzuma5 жыл бұрын

Dont drink every time she says "at the end of the day," you might die. Lol. But for real at the end of the day is an important time for reflection and it's worth the honor. It's not as annoying as you think it is when you mention it. I'd wear a koze shirt that says "at the end of the day." Use that!

I guess I know when I started to care more about what people think it was in 6th grade, I think.... So, thank you for this advice because I tend to care a lot about what other people think. Sorry, most of my comments are positive but I know I wrote 2 or 3 here on your channel that were not as "in your lines" of comments or I just disagreed with what you were saying but I hope you didn't take it the wrong way because YOU INSPIRE ME and then I have to comment =D I'm just saying my opinion and it's fine to have different ideas that are the best part of being me/you is we are our own person =D Hope you never see a more "negative" comment as negative but just as a different opinion (and that is ok =D) Love your videos
@epicherbalism5 жыл бұрын
Oh no no on reading comments for me! OObviously you do you if you want to read em but noooo thank you for me. I'd ask and even pay someone to sift through them so I can interact with the people who actually want to meet me in the middle (communication + basic human decency). I don't think it's healthy to "hear" all the negative, hyper-judgy, often self-reflective troll comments about ourselves, especially when we go out in vulnerability and realness. I also think it's gives an impression that there may be more of those bitter hateful unthoughtful trolls than good people out there and I don't think there is, they just are usually more loud.
@epicherbalism5 жыл бұрын
Lol I had to pause the vid to finish this (sorry will probably be said in it) buuuut I think of most negative comments like a toxic coworker or toxic cousin or somn; there's not a toxic friend bc you can't dump em but they linger on the periphery. But, you know it's best not to get wrapped up in their drama or ask their advice bc even if they give you a "wellmeaning" "Non offense but.... *is very rude for no good reason*" Especially someone so self-reflective like you, there's not going to be some mean word of wisdom that one of us who appreciates you AND can communicate with kindness, won't already nicely be like like "pss girl you have lipstick on your teeth, lol happened to me yesterday

Can you make a video about how to have a good day at work?
@DianaCret5 жыл бұрын
Google User how will she be able to do that and be relevant to you since she hasn’t been to a regular job 1 day in her life?
@googleuser40345 жыл бұрын
Diana Creț You don’t have to have a “regular job” to work. She still works from home. She still has to get in the working mindset each time she records/edits videos.
@DianaCret5 жыл бұрын
Google User this is the most superficial “I need to take her side” reply I was expecting to recieve. My question is still the same. How can her video be relevant since 80% or more of the people who follows her, have a job that actually requires leaving home. How is she able to exemplify this in her videos and describe traffic jams, getting ready in the morning at the same time and it’s somewhere way earlier than 8-9 o clock, waking up super early even if maybe you had a shitty night or a really bad night sleep. She had a work related video and she started work somwhere around 11 o clock. Not to talk about work deadlines. Of course she also has them, but nobody would really care if she delays smth. I am one of her followers, remember. So I’m not here to bash her or anything you imagine but remember a youtuber can not advise you in everything but only in the experiences they have
@googleuser40345 жыл бұрын
Diana Creț Well Either way, it looks like she took my comment and made a video out of it and took out the “work” part out, so win win :) I’m satisfied.
