Pocket is basically the shape. That point of the board is like the pocket on a shirt open but it Cups things, like you cup your hand to make a bowl or pocket, but also the pocket is in the corner of your shirt. so most things that have pockets like a skateboard it's basically a dip or a cup or bowl like groove in the corner that is called a pocket... Same in sports when they have an open pocket or hit it in the pocket, it's mostly a visual thing, you gotta see the pocket in your minds eye

Steasy = it’s too easy. Take the “it” and “oo” out and bingo. Just makin it look effortlessly. I don’t skate or bike anymore and haven’t for like 20yrs but it applies to a lot of differ stuff. I play softball and when third base or shortstop or any player in the field makes a clutch play and don’t even look like their trying… steasy. Like short stop standing there and takes a step one direction and looks slow and just throws the glove hand out there and snags it, steasy. Didn’t run or stumble or get low or work hard when it’s a clutch play and hard play to make. I’ll say for me… playing third base and batter hit a hard line drive and all I did because I know how he hits, I moved 5ft to my left before the pitch was made. I was literally in the perfect spot and all I did was lift my glove hand shoulder height half extended out so maybe 2ft to my left and right in my glove. Steasy. It looked beautiful even tho it was a hard hard hard hit line drive that broke the laces on the net part of my glove. Made the catch but couldn’t play anymore that day since my glove was broke. Dude is known to be one of the hardest hitters around here. No doubt it came at me around 80 90mph. He hits laser, no rainbow arch home runs at 300+ feet. So basically a line drive straight shot about 20ft off the ground and over a 6ft fence 300+ feet away.

Steasy part two and my best play ever. Playing third base, batter popped up 15ft to the third base side of the pitcher. Pitcher didn’t even try. It was way up in the air so I had time to see the pitcher not going for it. I ran up probably 20ft and dove to make the catch arms straight out, body flat, knees bent with feet bent up and 3ft off the ground there’s a pic of the ball in my glove and still a foot or two off the ground all spread out falling on my chest and hips and thighs with knees bent and feet facing up. Clutch play for the post season tourney win. Best pic and best play ever in my career. Other than hitting a grand slam for my first homerun ever
