Please tell us how to reconstitute the glimmer paste, even in tightly sealed container that is never left open the paste has dried out (live in the desert where it is dry) What can I add to it to thin it to spreading consistency?

Had to look up what freezer paper was, it's grease proof paper here in uk. Different words for different things. Enjoyed watching.

You guys are killing me. I just started using the Nuvo mouse and now I find these. This are awesome. I love all the different ways you can use them. The die cuts really look like you used expensive glittery paper to cut them out. But you used these which have way more uses than just sparkly cardstock. So cool! I need these now, too! lol.

Also, I have somehow accumulated three rolls of freezer paper that I have no use for..until now. Thank you!

I love these glitter pastes! And your idea to make the embellies on freezer paper...I have to try it😊

when I first got these they worked beautifully like you said, but when I went back to them several months later, they had dried hard as cement and were unusable. Threw them away! Had only used once! I hate when companies don't tell the whole truth about their products!! Just in case you're wondering, the lids were tightened very good.

Nina Marie, thank you so much for showing the different ways to use Tonic's Nuvo Products. Love the embellishments you created, especially the Autumn leaves. Autumn is my favorite season, mingle it with Glitter, and Voila! You get a new season...."AutumnGlit" (R).....LoL! You've done a great job and I appreciate your videos. Now I can buy these products because I now know how to use them for not only one way, but many other ways, getting the most for my money. Again, thanks so very much for your videos. Did I tell you how much I love ❤️ your videos? No? Well, I do! And now you know! Have a great day and TFS 🙂

Thank you for sharing with this interesting video. I would have liked you to introduce us to the name of each colour, first. It seems one colour is very much like another colour and it's very difficult to distinguish from photographs, but the vibrancy of the colours came out on the video. Secondly, you didn't say whether you get any glitter shedding from these pastes. I am looking forward to trying them out and making my own background papers.

Hi Nina, What about wax paper? This is a product that looks like something that I really want. As a matter of fact I already pinned it to my wish list. I just wish it was a little cheaper 'cause I am on a limited budget and I would like to get a handful of colors and that could run into some green.
@heatherloughlin5447 жыл бұрын
dutch land You should try making your own: start with a clear medium (gel or embossing paste), & mixing a small amount on a "palette" with some glitter from your stash. I can't say for certain whether or not this will work, but I think it's worth a try! ;)

I loved these until they dried up on me after the 1st use I closed it tightly enough not to dry out I’m very upset these aren’t cheap products how do I revive them??? Is it a total loss???? 😤

Thank you so much for this honest comment! I really hate investing in a new product, dumping $100+ to get all the colors only to find out it's garbage later. I've been reading this about the Nuvo Mousses as well. On sale at Joanns these products are still $7 each. That's a steep price to have the product go bad in just months. I wonder how Tonic is handling it? Ranger sent me defective distress markers (over 8 had bad tips), stamp pad tops popped off making them dry out etc. Their reply? Not our problem, too bad. They refused to replace defective products knowing full well many had similar issues. Us crafters aren't made of money!!!

How do you clean the stencils after using this product?
@deborahanne97936 жыл бұрын
Clean in warm water right away, it dries fast on your stencil and utensil, I learned from personal experience.
@rebaqueen5 жыл бұрын
I’ve seen videos where they have a container filled with water nearby, and immediately put the stencils in there to keep it from drying until you have time to clean them. That way, you don’t have to stop in the middle of creating to clean them.

this seems to be an awesome product! would you be able to use the heat tool to help the drying time?
@NinaMarieTrapani8 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda! I would not recommend heating the paste if you want a smooth finish. Applying heat to the paste will cause it to "puff", which is a great technique in its own right, but again, not good when you are looking for a nice smooth finish. Thank you so much for your comment!! I love hearing from everyone! :)

I love this stuff, BUT I opened a brand new jar after having it about 6 months and it was completely hard - like a rock. Any tips on how to make it soft again??
@moemanley25795 жыл бұрын
It's paste so you're SOL. You have a solidified hunk of glue basically. Ty for your honest comment, I wish more were so honest. There are so many brand loyal people that won't be truthful, or they do videos as a representative and get free products so they don't tell you the dirt on when good brands have stinkers. It makes me so mad!! And a lot of these things are $10 each retail!! That's steep to have a whole collection go bad. Dylusions by Ranger has had bad paint and paint pens but Dyan keeps lying saying people are using the items wrong (check reviews on amazon...), and Tonics Mousses did what your glimmer paste did. It's very frustrating!!

I just came across this site and thankfully have never had this problem, but then, was just thinking of trying this product. One thing you could try is putting plastic wrap over top of paste or wax paper so no air gets through as the lid must not be air tight. Add the lid and again wrap in plastic wrap. Shame for cheap packaging. Or purchase a sealed jar and transfer your paste. I get nice sealed small glass jars at Dollar General

My card panel warped after a few days, I stencilled on the Nuvo glimmer paste? Is there a certain cardstock to use with it so that it does not warp? Thank you
@emilypoole56863 жыл бұрын
When I use a paste of any kind I like using a glossy heavier cardstock as it does not collect the 'wet' from the paste. Also try using less paste if on regular cardstock and if needed, add a second layer after the first one drys and see if your paper no longer warps. I have used paste for 20+ years and the more heavy cardstock the better it works.

I used this in a tanzanite color on a brand new stencil. It came out pretty BUT I immediately took it to the sink to clean off and nothing worked. Although I got most of it off there is a layer of glitter that will not come off. I tried dawn detergent and a scrub brush, someone suggested rubbing alcohol. I tried everything... it is not like I waited a day... I immediately tried to clean it. Anyone know how to get this glitter paste off your stencil? Help...

Jane S I would try some "Goo Gone," or any other type of adhesive remover.

Don't really see the difference between this product and the glitter.... They both seem to have the same result unless this paste is more dimensional?
@NinaMarieTrapani8 жыл бұрын
Hi Denise! There isn't much of a difference in this paste versus using the loose Glitter with embossing paste. There would be a dimensional difference between this paste compared to Glitter adhered onto double sided tape though. And the advantage to using this Glitter paste over the loose Glitter is that there is less mess! ;) hope that helps!! Thank you for leaving a comment!!!
@ArtIsDrawing8 жыл бұрын
yeah but I think this is much cleaner than glitter, glitter is messy and gets everywhere

You don't need to. You just put the lid back on the container. :)
