How To Obtain MMSI Key + Setup On Standard Horizon HX890 GPS VHF Marine Radio for DSC GPS Calling

In this video, I show you how to enter MMSI Key on your Standard Horizon HX890 GPS VHF Radio. You can get a free MMSI key in the U.S. from www.usps.org/ (United States Power Squadrons). I recommend the GPS model (HX890) over the non-GPS HX210 or HX320 simply because it will send exact coordinates using the panic button to the Coast Guards and other vessels nearby. The HX890 is an excellent handheld (albeit larger) marine radio for near-shore kayaking (which I use it for).
