My man goin' in raw, no funnel! For real, perfect vid. Did it 100% correct all under 5 mins...including used oil bottling (in a bag, in the box. brilliant) & trip to recycle then car wash. Just tried to watch a dude do a change and it was a hella painful 24 mins watching him fumble with everything (laying under the car the whole time holding the drip pan up with one hand to reduce splashing. It splashed all over anyway. wtf?) I think I speak for everyone when I say we appreciate the quick edit & actually doing the change right.

Thank you, the black plastic you can buy from local o'reillys or autozone. It works with AWD very well, RWD not recommend.

Not necessarily but you should use an oil that meets your engine requirements and viscosity specs.

First the oil you use should be a better quality than mobile 1 ( The N55 engine has some higher standards that should be met that Mobile 1 does not meet) , secondly the X5 oil drain is straight up and down so having only the front tires up doesn’t completely drain the oil . Due to the orientation of the oil pan , the car needs to be level so up on 4 ramps or a lift to drain the oil properly.
