I took mine and held it in the water then placed it in the palm of my hand. I gently rolled it in my wet palm. Works beautifully!

Yes, you can do both. Just blot the brush and let it air dry in good shape.

Yes, you can use it with any water based watercolor paints or sumi ink.

After finishing you need to clean the brush thoroughly and blot it with paper towel. Then let it air dry in good shape.

@BekieMarett Just cold, or lukewarm (but not too hot).

i also confuse that could it be the hair of my brush too hard? i seen on ur videos, the brushes are really really smooth. you used them so easily and gentally. =.=
@PumpkinPails11 жыл бұрын
I was wondering what that stuff was. Your videos inspired me to go out and buy some Chinese watercolor brushes, but when I started using them all this goo kept dripping out of them. Lol!! Now, I know to rinse them out before I use them.

All brushes come coated in some natural glue to conserve them during transportation,just these on top are natural brushes that absorb a lot liquid,have fine point so,they take in extra amount of that ,,glue,, and that,,glue,,is extra hard like to preserve point of brush better...good wash and will be at its best.always wash all brushes before and after work

Thank you very much for the video. I got a Chinese paintbrush as a gift from a foreign exchange student who came to my town all the way from China. I couldn't read the Chinese instructions on the wrapping, so this video helped. Is it common to use watercolors with a Chinese paintbrush? Is it compatible with all types of paint?

Late but. The thickness depends on how hard you press it If you apply little pressure, it will be a thin line.

Who taught you to prepare a brush like that? The first part is wrong, no pressing the brush against bottom like that! Besides, you pressed the brush too hard on your palm when testing. We always only use the tip half of a brush! Never bend the hair all the way to the root like that!😮
