This worked!! My 2014 Ram 2500 Mega cab tailgate wouldn't open and my truck bed cover was locked. I was able ti fish a stiff wire, grab the cover wire handle, pop the cover and gain entry to the tail gate. I opened and gained access the tail gate door handle within and spray oil on it. It opened up and works! Thanks!

This was mad helpful-mine isn't broken just sorta old & stuck like yours was & probably just needs a shot of wd40. Hit it with the grease after popping that panel open-thnx dude

Ok, so I have a tri fold bedcover & can’t get to the inner tailgate panel. How do I get it open, short of slicing open my bedcover??
