How to open the golden flowers in God of War Ragnarök (Vanaheim)

This is a quick guide on how to open the golden egg-like flowers you find in Vanaheim. haven't seen anyone make one yet, so I thought I would as I was definitely struggling with how to do it and I'm sure I'm not the only one

Exactly, the game give you no indications there's anything in them or that you can open them. You just have to assume there is because of the light shining out the middle

What do you do with the item you get from plant/flower?

You use it for crafting stuff for Kratos. It says crafting component when you pick it up.

You want Freya to hit it with a purple arrow and then you hit it with your frozen axe
