Thanks! I have a B50-30 but it was built very similarly, only a minor difference with the screws. Everything went smoothly except for putting the backplate back on, that was a living nightmare it wouldn’t snap back in. It’s put back together now but I don’t think it’s very secure but it doesn’t affect me. appreciate the video!

What you can do, just check the existence Ram and find the model number which already printed and labelled there! So you would not make a mistake to find the right ram!

This worked great. I was able to take it apart easily. Start with it laying face down and you don't fight the stand issue :) Also a magnetized screwdriver made it easier. I also keep a magnet beside my desk to hold screws.

just to replace your hdd would not be very difficult as the back cover is only part you need to replace. Make sure the model of the PC has same number . thanks for your question. i really do enjoy it.

If you want to access the ram. You can remove the shiny metal and get direct access without removing the stand and extra plastic.

Somehow a BIOS was "updated" on this when it rebooted. Now keyboard doesn't light up at all, hard drive spins, no key combo gets to BIOS, screen is 100% black Power light white turns on and I can hold it down and it shuts off. Is there a way to "reset the bios" to the original manufacturer one?

I had to get out my SDD. My PC basically got too hot and the fan literally blew up into flames. There was no way to turn the PC back on without it catching fire again. This video helped alot. I had no idea how to open it because there was not a single screw in sight. Now my SDD is saved and I can get rid of the PC.

I just bought another Lenovo same as this & due to a simple BIOS + Bitlocker Key i was blocked out of my Laptop Lenovo 430s,a very fast & reliable Laptop as i put extra RAM with being 2-bays one under the keyboard and another under the laptop and so easy to do. Hi, honestly nothing special tools i have been used for this model. you may use some flat plastic card or guitar pic. you must should have the Philips screw driver and flat screw driver in general.

YOU have black screen or no screen? its very important to know. no screen means there is no light at all in the LCD when the pc boot up. Black screen means when the pc boot up it shows the brand logo and then LCD went dim and black.
