Thanks for the step by step demo about how to service this all in one machine. I only need to add some RAM to one of these, but this is no simple task compared to your average PC. This also gave me the oportunity to clean the heatsink and fan which I may not have thought of. I especially like how you have three hands when you are vaccuming them. :-)

Hi, I have the 22ISU version, I have some questions. Can the DVD Reader be swapped with Drive Caddies like most pre-2017 laptops? What's the SATA speed of that socket? Is it SATA2 like most windows laptops, or SATA3 like Macbooks/iMac? If it can, should I use the 9mm or the 12mm one? Thanks.

Tengo ése modelo 300-23isu. Se rompió la pantalla, ahora lo conecto por hdmi a la tv. Ayer entre a la bios y deshabilite la opción OS OPTIMIZED DEFAULTS y ahora enciende pero no tengo video. Que puede haber pasado qué ni siquiera puedo entrar a la BIOS (ya que no puedo ver nada en la tv. Gracias por la ayuda!

just cracked my lcd after trying to fit new ram in my aio 27" idea center 3. Fucking knightmare it was. Stupidly hard to get into, I don't reccomend one of these aio if you're looking to upgrade it at some point.

I hate AIO PC's with a passion. Too easy to break and if something major fails. What can you do but put in the trash. AIO PC's are truly among the goofiest things ever made.

Nice teardown of this machine. Just had same model in my shop. The touchscreen was acting up quite badly. Bubbles and clicking on things like it was possessed. I ended up disabling it permanently just by using software. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Wisp\Touch Create a new DWORD (32 bit) with the name TouchGate Doubleclick on the newly created DWORD and making sure it has the value 0 (zero meaning disabled) If someone else has same problem hopefully this is useful. I don't believe there is a way to disable the touch in the BIOS with this machine.
