I love, the alpha 1X. It goes 21 miles an hour with my 130 pound son on it and on a steep incline. It still will go 14 to 15. We've also got the Jetson bolt which has a longer range. It's a little slower, but I feel if we upgrade the battery or do something with the speed limiter. We could match speeds, but there's not much difference that we really need to do anything. I recommend either one. We haven't had troubles with either. And for such a decent price, you really can't beat it. You know i've got a total of about seven hundred dollars into two brand new scooters that my son's absolutely love.. I will, however, recommend that anyone that rides these where a proper helmet. And I mean, something like a motorcycle helmet, not a bike helmet. My kids have the half motorcycle helmet without the face guardand if they want the face guard, they can get it but I feel they're safer with those. And both ebikes have headlights and tail lights and light app real good, especially the alpha. When it's night and you can turn on the bright LED 's all in all, I've had no issues. I honestly thought that my 14-year-old would rather have the alpha. But he prefers the bolt because he likes to sit on it. And he rides it to and from school, which is about 2 and a 1/2 miles to school and 2, and a 1/2 miles home, and he still has plenty of time to ride it around after school. If he wants, we just make sure it's fully charged for him in the morning. Let's hear. However, I have nothing but success with the alpha one battery. If you completely charge it, at least the one we have it last for a very long time. I've had my twelve-year-old. Take it out 3 days in a row and ride it for an hour or 2 at a time. And it never went completely dead. In my opinion, these are the 2E bikes to get they're cheap. They work well and they're well worth the money to me. Anyway, those have been my experiences. I'm sure other people have their own opinions. Honestly, though, in my opinion, I don't think any 12 or 14-year-old needs to be going any faster than 20 miles an hour. Like I said, we are very pleased, especially at the money we paid. And if the speeds are ever increased , it will be because they have gotten older or because it ends up being mine.

Hi, thanks for checking out my video. I believe there are only 2 differences between the Alpha 1 and Alpha 1 pro. 1st difference is the Pro model can go 18 miles distance per charge where the standard model only gives you 12 miles distance per charge. 2nd is the pro model has dual braking system (rear disc as well as electronic braking) whereas the standard model only has the rear disc brake. I don’t believe there are any other differences. They both max out at 18mph speed

I got a gotrax and the alpha. I have not got on the but I pick up back tire and push button the both dnt spin. Do I got to push first the. It will go it self

Yes they have a safety feature that requires you to kick start yourself and have the wheels spinning before the throttle button will work. This is done to prevent accidental starts.

Hey ! Thanks for checking out my video. Honestly I didn’t know they made them with drum brakes. Maybe they figured drum brakes provide better stopping. I’m sorry, not sure if they still make them with disc brakes.

Hey ! Thanks for checking out my video review of the Alpha 1 E-scooter. Yes there was a very noticeable improvement on the acceleration and overall speed with a fully charged battery. Also I was wrong about the Mode 1 Mode 2 settings. In the video I mention that they were for different acceleration but indeed they are for higher speed. Mode one maxes out at about 14mph where with Mode 2 you can hit the full speed of 19mph and even faster under the right conditions. I’ll try and make a follow up review video soon.

You have to launch the Bluetooth finder on your phone then select the alpha Bluetooth when it pops up.

This scooter is OK, it's good on flat plains or down hill, but it can't do up hill well at all, I've got one and it slows down to 3-4 miles up hill and eventually stops
