I really liked this video, I often found myself nodding along with what you were saying. I have been quite lost on what to focus on and what to do in order to improve my life but this video gave me a sense of direction to follow. Great video!! Keep up the good work!!

for timestamps you need the first to be 00:00, if not the chapters will not be added onto the actual video. love the effort and organisation of content ❤ been on a multi-day journey organising my spaces at home haha this recommendation was timely

There's a fundamental problem with this though. When your firsr season ends you then repeat the process with another category of your wheel of life. Even though the other categories are maintained while you are focusing on one, the last category on your wheel will only have been maintained for say six months. So for example your health will be maintained but not optimal for maybe 6 months out of 7 (I can't see the wheel so don't recall how many categories). If your health is optimised for the one month out of 7 that you are focussing on it it won't be enough to sustain optimal health. So at best your categories will constantly ebb and flow, none of them optimal for the majority of the time.

Would you say the brain dump is like a master task list? Also I was worried when you started talking about calendar blocking, it never works for me but the whole day blocking is a good idea.

I've got a more practical solution to the "wheel of life" The idea behind it is amazing - but the execution as provided in the book is lackluster. randomly rating your areas of life 1-10 isn't realistic. Instead you would just enter in what you've actually achieved for each category of life using projects in the life game design app showing what you're actually investing your time and energy in. this turns into a graph that shows you how strong / weak you are in each area and the solution is simple - add more goals to those areas to change the balance of each. It systemizes the important process of understanding and optimizing your life areas instead of doing it once in a blue moon.

I find that segmenting my (work) day arbitrarily helps me get stuff done... I'll take the longer commute but strive to work through my inbox while sitting in the train for 20min, or bribing myself to go to a cafe and write that on dreaded report within the time it takes to get and drink my coffee, finishing off a task before lunch/snack break... Like little mini-deadlines. Also works with household chores, like vacuuming the 7min before I head out to the gym... Not perfectly of course, but making a dent. Editing to add: late diagnosed adhder here.
