Great job! Looks good! Just in case anyone is interested, I have two 4x8 sheets of mdf pegboard that is 35 yrs. old and looks good as new. I did paint it which I think helps. As long as you don’t let it get wet, it will outlast the plastic. The plastic will warp with time...but don’t worry. Yours will last a long time.

Nice, ironically I bought three of these today from Home Depot and didn’t realize the name of them until I saw yours. I was like “I have the same ones!” Thanks for sharing

On the note of accessories, get a 3D Printer (If you don't have one already), and you can make a PILE of accessories for cheap, and even custom ones for obscure stuff (like the exact model of drill etc)

Peg board 4x8 $26 plus they cut up to 5 cuts for free. Plus 50 assorted pegs from harbor freight $7 (I bought two). I also bought the peg board black locks off Amazon for $10 and the bag contained 100 pieces. That was it LOL cheap AF no thinking so so easy. It’s extremely sturdy and it holds a lot!! I have about 100 items and it’s not going anywhere!! I’m so happy with my set it. The only thing I could have done to have that expensive “cool” look is paint the white peg board black. Other than that why spend more?

Great job, but you might want to consider renaming your video. I was looking for organization ideas, not how to hang a pegboard. Thx

Thank you! I like this idea so much more than building a frame to accommodate the old style pegboard. I'm a senior female and I'm just not up to that.

Nice video... Peg board or pretty durable. I have the home depot brand hanging on my walls for over 10 years and it's still solid.

Over $100 for such a small area? I have a 4x8 pegboard painted black with over 80 peg hooks & racks all for under $50. Still had another $50+ to spend on toolbox organization.
@johnmack5376 жыл бұрын
1. You didn’t do your homework: conventional pegboard isn’t “like MDF”, it’s Masonite “hardboard”. 2. Conventional pegboard comes in different thicknesses. If you’re worried about “flimsy”, you should have looked at the thicker version. 3. There’s no issue putting conventional pegboard on 16” studs. 4. For your $100 you could have covered 4 times the area, including more hooks and accessories.

Home Depot only carries the thin stuff, never said you can't put it on studs, just said it was a pain, did not pay $100

What's up Makita man! Yeah buddy, I just hung more this week on my other wall. They look great and are extremely strong. Only $5 a piece, can't beat it. Thanks for the comment buddy!

Tool Review Zone. Yeah I think you made the right choice that plastic is probably much better than that cheap fiber cardboard. If I was going to do it I would have done the same way you did and the other wall that you did probably looks awesome as well. All right brother take care for now

Some Home Depot’s will cut the $20 8’x4’ peg board sheet for you. They may only do three or four cuts but it may be enough
