I have around 40 vice grips of various sizes and grips, some have a grip 2 feet from the handle and none of them have that hex drive. If you have a good grip, you won't ever have this problem

Hope that router uses the dewalt locking hose attachment. I didn't even know they made that. Once I got it, my life was sooo sooo much better. I hate the gov't, but they should mandate a law that every tool have a common adapter.

I think they don't add the orbital for the same reason Milwaukee has 2 levels of Fuel sawzalls. The Fuel Super with orbital, and Fuel without but smaller & lighter. So not every other saw has it, due to trying to minimize size. I think showing a comparison against orbital & non-orbital would should be shown.

TRZ this new Dewalt router looks mint. I don’t even need it but I want to come up with a project to justify purchasing it. Real nass like! 👍

I have 5 routers, had five, now six. I justified buying the new dewalt because I was sick of using the circle jig and the power cord kept tangling up with the dust collection hose. The router is almost flawless. One livery small thing is the inability to use guide bushings accept for the 30mm one they supply and you screw in. I don’t use them much and aftermarket universal bases are cheap

The earliest vise grips had a hex bolt in the handle for this purpose, but later changed to the thumb screw. The ressurected vise grips called eagle grips included a hex drive and Snap-on has continued that feature since they bought the eagle grip tooling.

Great video and channel! Question for you: Im just starting doing DIY type projects around the house, I don't have any saws (no circular/wormdrive or miter or table). I want a versatile saw - something that could be used for other purposes so I was leaning towards the mobile saws like the Flex circular sidewinder, inline saw like this one, and Flex's rear handle saw vs Flex's table or miter saw. Let me know if you think I am mistaken in wanting to lean towards these more portable saws vs miter or table saw. Having said that, if you had to pick one, which portable hand saw would you recommend: Flex's sidewinder, Flex's rear handle like this one or their in-line saw? I would want smooth accurate cuts to be able to replicate a miter and table saw for general all purpose versatility. I'm not a framer, nor do I make furniture or anything just a general hobbyist but I would be interested to make anything so I want a saw that is versatile enough to accommodate for any project in the future. Look forward to your advice!

Dewalt's prices have gone up way too high for their quality or lack of, and the lackluster performance....every other tool brand seems to have left Dewalt in the dust....Dewalt keeps screwing with battery platforms, and tool branding nonsense and forgot they're supposed to be building quality high performance tools not be changing tool branding names and designs to cover up their lack of performance and quality. I had a lot of Dewalt 18V, 20V, and a few of the Flexvolt tools....sold all that stuff earlier this year, plenty of other choices out there with better performance, and less expensive batteries and accessories.

And, they still haven’t given any thought to whether or how their tools fit in their Tough System containers. Wake up DeWalt.
@wildbill23c
@wildbill23c 21 сағат бұрын
They really don't care...and their cases and containers are ridiculously expensive and you throw the tool in and it just clatters and slides around because in that ridiculous cost they couldn't other to design the cases with movable partitions for all their tools, or have that foam stuff in them to be able to customize those boxes.

New DeWalt tools are terrible, in particular the mitre saws. Their impact driver was always shite. I never liked Dewalt and I never will. Milwaukee are even worse, their gen 4 has been a disaster. I had all Milwaukee tools and got rid of them. Hikoki/Metabo HPT alll the way. You can always rely on them and very ergonomical.

@stephenfanthorpe2708 Every tool is good for the first few months after it was bought. Wait until it has some work done, then tell me how good it is. Dewalt releasing limited edition "McLaren" models is so cringe and makes me see them as even more of a joke than I already do. It comes across as a desperate attempt to make up for a drop in sales. Such a cheesy promotion gimmick you would see for childrens toys, akin to the "Milwaukee Truck Tour", clearly targeted towards naieve Americans🤣 I'm quite insulted to be honest, do these big tool companies think we're 4 year olds or something?
@stephenfanthorpe2708
@stephenfanthorpe2708 22 сағат бұрын
@ Yea okay but unfortunately the real world doesn’t work like that, it is despite your yellow cheesed assumption far superior than a lot of impacts I’ve used including my makita’s common we aren’t 5 lol your mum isn’t going to tell me your right because you said so and you’ll cry if I say otherwise 😂.like or dislike them it’s still facts . Should go try one 1st then check back in.
