Thank you Jon. This is an important video. It's meaningful. It shows that just because you failed at something, it doesn't mean you weren't "meant" to achieve it. As a student, I appreciate that you made this video.

It takes courage to share failure. I went through something similar as an architecture student. Thanks for motivating.

This video really did lift me up. I failed my classes even though I’ve put soo much work. What broke me, was feeling like all of the sacrifices that I made and suffering that went through was for nothing. But hopefully next time will be better; I just need to do things differently this time. Thank you for sharing something this personal with the world. U really did make a difference. ❤❤

Thank you for posting this video, I needed this to continue in the Architecture field. I so badly strive to do better next year, but I used to fear that I wouldn't do any better no matter how hard I tried, and I was so scared of what others outside the field thought about me. Great editing too!

I just failed in a subject in architecture I didn't know what to do, I came across this video. Yeah, just realised we live in a world where winners are celebrated. And somehow inspired me that I know this minor failure won't stop me from being what I wanna be. Doubtful.

It’s been 4 year that I’m in architecture school but I failed 2 times. This year I wanted to do give an other chance, but now I’m so afraid , I have a lot of pressure that it blocks me to do something. I wish that those negative thoughts weren’t there. It’s really hard when you give all your best and at the end you failed.😢

I also a architect student but have a big problem dealing with uncertainty. It is been 4 year that I attempt Architect school but feel like I know nothing. I have no confident to do the JOB. I blame my idea all the time. That lead me to the point that I such a dumb student. I have such a high anxiety who always try to escape from assignment and group project.

I took the introductory architecture course twice. The 2nd time I still barely passed. In fact, I messed up so bad that I forgot to submit my final portfolio (which I had completed)which was worth 10% of my entire grade. Brought my grade down from a 80% to a 70%. I was literally borderline of failing the same course again. over such a STUPID mistake. Lesson learned, but never give up.

Yet another interesting video. Sometimes, it takes a long time to find one's niche. Mine turned out to be prison teaching in Norway. In a prison, one meets a lot of people who have failed, and society has condemned. My job was to help them reenter society again. I am not sure how much teaching I actually did. My main skill was an ability to listen. A second important skill was to drink coffee, while listening. My greatest failure happened during my first year. I was attempting to teach English to one former woman inmate, who after almost a year of attending this special school, decided during the few days she had off during Easter, to return to misusing drugs. She never returned to school. I learned that I had to accept failure, in myself and others.
