Hey Robbo, yes I tried the thiamine protocol a few years ago after reading Dr Lonsdale's book, it didn't do anything for me unfortunately. I came to learn a few years later that neural networks require three things to survive (& re-grow) - glucose, oxygen and appropriate stimulation. Whilst I understand the concept that thiamine has impacts on cellular energy metabolism and can support glucose and oxygen production, the issue (and the reason I wasn't making any real progress in my own situation) was because I wasn't appropriately stimulating the hypotonic sensory systems - ones that I was eventually able to identify last year through extensive neurological testing. Stimulating these systems was similar to exercising a particular muscle at the gym, where I was given very targeted neurological exercises to send oxygenated blood to that region, in order to encourage neuroplasticity/neuronal regrowth. That was the missing piece of the puzzle for me

I have UC, listening to you it could have been loads of stuff. Food poisoning, head injuries, anti-biotics. I've had enough though never feel right may just ask to have a bag fitted and see if it repairs.
