I honestly double press a lot without even noticing it. A lot of league champs have some awkward cast times that make comboing weird when you play multiple characters, so to get around it and be more homogenous amongst the cast, I think plenty of people simply double tap buttons (which is one of the great things about any switch that has no "bump"). It became super noticeable to me before FGs though, because there is a character called Hwei (which I think has a similar control scheme to invoker from Dota2 as well, thouhg I can't personally confirm), where you select a set of abilities with button press 1, then use another button press to cast an ability, meaning double tapping woudl cause me to simply cast my QQ, WW, or EE ability, and make it impossible for me to get say, QW, QE etc. It was only when i ran into this situation where my habit strictly prevented me from playing the champion that I realized i was double tapping almost everything.

Honestly these type of community team competitions involving all skill levels is the best type of content for the FGC. I recently saw something similar in Taiwan and all the new comers improve so quick it's actually scary.

Diaphone is such a GOAT of a coach and you can tell Scarra is having fun learning the game. Wholesome content.

Thanks for making the most practical FGC educational content (props to scarra for being the student here). More people need to take this template for "problem -> solution" kinda stuff but in a high level way. Keep on being one of the best FGC creators! :3c

I'm a new player that wants to learn Manon and this match was soooooooo informative. I'm still far from making use of the 50/50 mindgames but I could make note of all the important buttons, because in other videos of experienced players I get lost with all they use. I also made note of the combo that Scarra keeps making, looks like "bread and butter" combo as people say. So grateful for this.

This is probably the most fun level to watch a player, when they're practicing for Sajam Slam. It's nice to see some silliness from the beginners, but sometimes it can be a little frustrating watching them actually try to practice. The top level players, that aren't coaches, are mostly just grinding and finding out about more specific tech for situations. Still interesting, but nothing too different from normal training sessions. Scarra's at that perfect mid level, where he knows what he's doing and what he wants to do. He just needs some guidance on how to get into those advantageous situations. Also, he still doesn't know some mechanics like back rolling. So, there's still that feeling of watching his understanding of the game expand significantly, just from learning he can hold 2 buttons when getting knocked down.

Just gonna say fighting those streamers in JP are gonna be hard. They're all actually SF6 streamers and they regularly hold fight club meetings where they just play a fuckton against each other. They're coached by pros some times and they participate in nearly ALL SF6 events that they can. REJECT SF6 streamers are really strong I can't wait to see that match up

The OD spin into kick cancel is actually a combo extender she can use to tack on more dmg to the deafult bnb while spending only 2 gauges instead of the drive rush extension which does less dmg for more bar. So instead of jHK>4HP(2MP if too far for 4HP)>DR>2MP>4HP>236MP you can do jHK>4HP>OD236P(kick cancel)>4HP>236HK>236LP. DMG difference is 3500 to 3620(+ you regen 1,25 bars back roughly, so the difference in bar is effectively 2.25 bars less spent for 120 more dmg )if the first combo uses the 4HP but if you can't use it cuz of range then the second combo doesn't work, but my point is merely that the move is far from useless.
