boxbox being known for tft instead of as a riven one trick makes me feel old.

fr, tbf i think the majority of the lol community thinks of his riven its just bc diaphone doesnt rly know him
@selfselected10 күн бұрын
I feel like I hold arcane knowledge because I know that he's nowadays called boxbox because his LoL ID used to be in Korean and the English client couldn't display it in-game, so it showed two boxes

While "begginer tutorials" content is very numerous on YT, It's very cool to see a coaching video where coached person is 1600 MR and there is still a lot of very specific stuff that's new to them.
@briquesbts5 күн бұрын
Boxbox was famous in league of legends before tft for his insane Riven, which was (and maybe still is) the most mechanical intense character in the whole game. So no wonder he is doing so well in sf6

I made it to masters with the worst anti airs you’ve ever seen
@TheTrueForerunner10 күн бұрын
@MrMegaman1417 idk about worst, I've sometimes went for an anti air after they already landed and immediately face-palmed
@MrMegaman141710 күн бұрын
@@TheTrueForerunner i’m talking I didn’t even attempt to anti air. I got in the bad habit of using parry anti air. Also I reacted to DI like 10-20% of the time 🤣 getting to master is easy but going past 1500 not so much

Kinda wild that BoxBox is learning fighting games as a "pro TFT player" and not one of the people who pioneered Riven animation cancel combos

I love Sajam Slam but it's so weird to me that the prize for winning is a free trip to an in person tournament where the in person finals are had when half the people in the tournament are V-tubers that can't go to an in person event. What's the point of the grand finals when 2-3/5 players on each team are replaced?
@Obregon-10 күн бұрын
I would also love to understand this, I find myself cheering against that team because what would be the point
@SupermanSajam10 күн бұрын

MUCH better teaching from Diaphone here compared to what i saw of Nephew teaching that poor girl Eskay on Twitch. He was just yapping in his monotone way mansplaining nonsense to her while she learned absolutely NADA about the game from his poor instruction!

If he had bad adhd he wouldnt be Master Rank, he wouldnt be prominent in that other game, and he wouldnt be a successful content creator. He'd be playing Gief and just looking at his own character (see Strider's hilarious rant on that)
