ive got a lil tip. before committing to dropping in, try planting ur hands on the curb next to the coping so that when you drop in, only ur legs are dropping in and getting used to that motion.

don’t even think. set your board and stomp and lean forward. the more you think about it the harder it is. dropping in is actually extremely easy. it’s jus all about overcoming the fear

Make sure your board is safe enough so you could be confident enough in even riding it a faulty board sometimes is a problem

For me the best way to enhance my commitment is to: only think that I will sort that trick later, as I am in the middle of the trick. Like when dropping in, "I'll catch the board later on"- kind of a thinking. If I think too hard before the trick, it is very hard to have enough commitment.

Man for me I guess repetition helps the most. I tried the same trick out of a bank since covid but I’d only give it like 3 tries every sesh which is nothing. A few days ago I just went at it over and over and finally stuck both feet (slipped out but fireworks were going off in my brain) lol.

idk, i had a very bad fall 3 years ago on a pennyboard (ive been boarding since 2017 and i now have a good skateboard) but after that fall i feel an uncontroleble fear whenever im on my skateboard...what do i do? i tried today to overcome my fear and i fell again and again..

maybe just slowly ease yourself to it and use protective gear, so you feel safer. tbh i don't think there is anything that can really help than just doing it and accepting that you will fall and hurt yourself, cuz you can't avoid it. i wish you luck and i hope the fear goes away!!
