MY FAVORITE SKATEBOARD SETUP EVER!

Today we’re building a brand new skateboard because my last one fell in the water and could potentially snap now that water has soaked through it.
This is probably one of my favorite board setups ever. The grip tape plus board combo goes absolutely crazy. There’s not much of a better match up than this and it already feels great to skate on.

The Killua grip is from Rikayushi on instagram. He does custom grip art and he always has the best anime grip on deck. I’m not sure if this one is still available but I’m sure you will find something you might like on his page. Peep the description for links to all my skate parts and more. You might not be able to copy mine exactly to the T but you can get pretty close with the parts I recommended.

Just got back into skateboarding after like 20 something years lol. I’m 34 years old with 2 girls. I don’t look my age though. fun fact, I have custom grip vector art that I paid for just need money to put the design on some grip.. as for the trucks, I also ride Ventures. I use them with my Quik Truks and they feel so nice, I plan to get Ace Lows for my second setup since my Krux kinda sucked. I really enjoy your content dude, one love

I have a question, I know you've used Jordan 1's to skate in the past, and have many times, so I need this to be answered, is it easy to do Ollie's, Kickflip's, Shuv it's, Tre flips, all of those, mainly Ollie and Kickflip I'd like to know, with the Jordan 1's, is it harder to do with the shoes or is it the same as every other decent shoes?

Don't think this will be the best answer but when I was looking up skate shoes to buy I ended up finding out about Jordan 1's being used by skaters since I think the 90s. Apparently at the time they were the best to use for skateboarding I think because of the grip on the bottom of the shoes. I think the downside was basically them getting worn out if you do a lot of tricks since you would be sliding the shoes on grip tape so having expensive shoes that will ruin isn't really ideal unless you got a ton of spending money lol. If you google it, there should be a few articles on it but this is just what I remember from researching it a bit.

Hello, can anyone help me improve the ollie, I can jump steps or sidewalks of 15 centimeters but I still can't jump into a box that is 30 centimeters high, are there any techniques to increase the height of the ollie?

yes just keep practicing, if you skate more you're ollies will get better i swear, there is no 'technique' that will make you jump higher its just muscle memory and practice, or thats how i feel about it.
