HOW TO PACK FOR A CRUISE TO THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

Great suggestions - we are going in September and have the Machu Picchu option after so will need to pack for that as well. We've heard there is a weight limit for the flight from Quito to Baltra - do you happen to remember what that is, not a lot of information out of Celebrity at the moment, hopefully more as we get closer. Thanks.

I believe it is 40 lbs, but I'd double check in the paperwork you'll get from them closer to the trip. You drop off your luggage the night before you leave for Baltra, and there is a scale available at that time for you to double check the weight of your luggage. Have a fantastic time!

Just got our travel packet from Celebrity - the wt limit is 44 for checked bag and 15 for carry on.

No, the ship provides you with all necessary equipment. Save the room in your suitcase for other things. :)
