@@pecocoart2789 I have used normal glass from photo frames but it's kinda dangerous...I got a severe cut with the glass and my hand was bleeding like crazy. Took over a month to heal. After that I didn't do glass painting. Just scared about what happened. Then I discovered plexiglass, some people use plexiglass and it seems really safe compared to actual glass.

Hi i have a question. When i use sharpie oul based marker for black lines, sometimes when i go over the lines again itll scrape off the line I had before. Does the sakura pen do that too?
@DrawninjaKC
@DrawninjaKC 3 жыл бұрын
No it doesn’t. But to prevent the oil based sharpie from doing that don’t press so he’d on it. You can actually get a strong opaque line the first time if you ease off on the pressure when you have a good flow of paint.

Hello, I’m planning to do a very large glass/plastic painting so I was wondering before I invest a massive amount of time: have you ever had any problem with paint fading/cracking/peeling? Have you tried painting on plastic as well? If so, would you recommend glass or plastic for longevity?Do you prepare the glass in any way beforehand? Do you use a sealer? Thank you very much
@DrawninjaKC
@DrawninjaKC 3 жыл бұрын
How large are we talking? No I do not prepare the glass other than making sure it’s clean and clear. I don’t put any sealant. I usually put it back in the frame with Bristol board cut to size at the back of it in the frame to give it a white background. I’ve never done it on plastic so can only recommend glass. I’m not sure about longevity but my oldest glass art painting about 5 months old and so far so good. Hope this helps.

Hello I just started glass painting and was wondering, do you pay the special handling fee or ship normally? I heard that even if you add fragile stickers/write fragile on the box, that the shipping company handles it as it would other packages anyway (because u need to pay the fee) ?
@DrawninjaKC

That's why i did this packing video. You really can't rely on shipping companies to be careful with your package. So i make sure to pack it in a way that drastically reduces the chance of the art being damaged.

Hi so I'm finding the best marker for outlining my work and i try the Posca pen, Identi pen and i want to try the sharpie oil based marker the problem is this Posca pen- really great for outlining it's really thick for lining but the problem is i used acrylic pait and i saw your video that it smudge with the posca pen so that's a no for me Identi pen - I like it it's the one I'm using on my work but the ink is just too thin I'm going back and forth to get a thick line The sharpie oil based pen which the one i want to try, i want to know how it will react to the acrylic paint and is the ink thick And I'm dealing with cracks on the paint, maybe it needs more time to dry, and can you give a me a advice to stop the paint from cracking? And the name of the squeeze bottle that you used Please let me know about the sharpie oil based paint, Thank you❤️❤️ Your fan from the Philippines
@DrawninjaKC

I'm not sure if you know but the identipen does have two sides. you may be just using the extra fine side. Use the other side and see if the lines are still too thin. The link to purchase the bottles are in description under the video. hope thie helps. I highly recommend the oil based sharpie.
