I use empty prosecco bottles for loose flowers. Looks nice too as vase. And transport is easy. No water spilling

I would love to see links to the cup, box and paper!

Great idea!! I've just gone in and updated the video description to include links to everything. I've also learned that the sundries we have access to in Australia is very different to what is available in other parts of the world and it can take a little Amazon hunting / going to old school florist supply shops to find some of these things. 😍

Do you hand the bouquet to the bride with the box? Or do you pull it out from the water/box before handing it over to her?
@LittleBirdBloom3 жыл бұрын
Great question! We initially present her the bouquet in the box. We then take it out, unwrap the tissue and give you instructions on how to hold the bouquet. Give her a practice run so she feels comfortable with it. Then we wrap it up again, put it back in the water and tuck it out of her way until they're ready to leave. 💖

thats perfect how would you package a cascading bouquet?
@LittleBirdBloom5 жыл бұрын
Antoinette Pisani - I would do a similar thing but if you need more space cut the corner of the cardboard box and let it cascade over the side of the box 👍🏼

Dos you add water in the plastic vase ? How yo maintain the flowers hidratated?
@LittleBirdBloom5 жыл бұрын
Yes. Most often about an inch or so of water. If you're travelling over bumpy roads or for a long distance you can always transport in more water and then finish the handle once you get closer to the destination.

Question, why do are you not a fan of reusing bouquets for the reception? I always recommend but I would love to hear the flip side.
@LittleBirdBloom Жыл бұрын
Yeah!!! I love the curiosity 🥰 There are three things that have gotten me to stop doing it (1) After the photography sessions + ceremony, the bouquets look really tired so it feels kinda wrong to have the couple getting photos taken with tired flowers in front of them - it might also be an Aussie / heat thing and in a cooler climate they may not look so depleted (2) My bouquets are big and if ya put 'em in a vase on the head table, some times they obstruct the view (3) Most of our clients didn't use a planner so they're trying to keep track of all the details themselves. The overwhelm for sometimes all-consuming so the less they need to worry (or remember to assign someone that job) the better .

Where do you get that white paper from? I use tissue currently, and just find it doesn't look as 'luxurious' as that one you used...
@LittleBirdBloom4 жыл бұрын
Ola Palac it’s referred to as ‘non woven’ Which makes no logical sense because it looks woven 🤦🏻♀️ here’s a link so you can see if you can something similar www.koch.com.au/buy/nonwoven-wrap-sheets-nova-white-50x70cm-pack-50/kmnw.002

if I am driving for 2 hours to deliver the flowers should I cover the bouquet with plastic or keep it open? what about the car AC is it ok?
@LittleBirdBloom5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Definitely leave them uncovered and if it's hot out, crank up the AC - I often go with the rule of thumb that I'll put on another layer (a sweater) and crank up the AC so the flowers are at a better temp
