This was a great video, I've sprayed hundreds of gallons in wearhouse ceilings and cinderblock walls. My one recommendation is to get a large garbage can and batch mix all your product together, then put it back into its original buckets/ cans.... There is nothing more annoying than a section of work standing out after it dries!

Thank you so much. I'm renovating my parents home, so far I've replaced the roof, painted the exterior trim and doors (it has vinyl siding). Remodeled 2 of the 3 bathrooms (new tile, in floor heating, paint, new toilets, faucets, p-traps and shutoff valve's). I do hire a licensed electrician to inspect my work. I'm about to replace all the balancers in their old Andersen windows. My brother and I grew up learning a lot from our parents but I find you website invaluable. It's the first place I go when I have a new project to tackle.

Just wanted to say how incredibly helpful this video was for me this week. I was thinking about tackling a project like this this week, and like a cross from the sky your video landed in my feed. It was a decorative brick section rather than a whole house, but the two coats took an hour each of two coats to spray (with my new Wagner sprayer) and about 2.5 hours to mask off/clean up. One day project.

We purchased a 70's slump block home last year durring the pandemic. Now a year later we're still trying to decide if we repair the brick and paint (not my 1st choice) or stucco over it (also not a fan of the labor involved). I think this is the answer. Thank you so much Jeff!

My wife and I started a renovation of our 1st floor and kitchen last spring. While I did contract out some of the work to licensed professionals (plumbing and electric) I have been able to complete most of the other tasks myself. I have removed and re-drywalled the ceilings, primed and painted the ceilings and walls, built soffits and am now in the process of laying the vinyl plank flooring. This channel has been immensely helpful. I especially like the negative air concept. It was vital to keeping the rest of the house clean so we can live in it. I didn't rent anything. I had a powerful floor fan, some plastic sheeting and a contractor bag. It worked great! No dust in the house while demoing and sanding. By my and my realtor's calculations, our home market value will increase by nearly double what I have invested in this project. As you say Jeff "Money in the bank." Next project will be to fix up the garage. It needs insulation, drywall and I think an epoxy floor would be nice. Let us know if you have any tips on that project as well. Thanks for all you do.

I just finished painting the exterior of our home - (new to us, but built in 1975) - brick up to 8', then wood paneling and soffit. I've been using an airless since the late 70's, and sadly, my next to last airless died after about thirty minutes of usage last Friday :( . Was torn between taking it to the shop for fixing or buying a new one. Found a new one on the big "A" and had it delivered Saturday. Only paid about $250, and painted the remainder of the exterior on Sunday (and we even had our own crosses to remove!). Glad to learn from you that I did it correctly. Four angles of spray to cover all sides of the brick. I did NOT, however, water the paint down. So, hopefully, it will still have good coverage and last for at least a few years. Painting was nothing. Half a day masking the windows was the big pain! Thanks for your informative videos and your cheery personality!

Huge improvement!! Granted, if I were going for aesthetics, I would also paint the bottom white. The contrast would be great! I'm not sold on grey and yellowy brown... But realistically, white can be hard to keep looking clean... just a thought.. And it could be the camera, idk, but I thought I could still see a bit of red brick showing through in your backdrop of the finished product. By and above the front door.

Little tip, Whenever you have half a can of a paint left, fill it back up from the other can (do it a couple of times) this would bland all the color imperfections through out multiple cans or buckets. Don’t have to worry about this if a job takes only one can or lesser.

After years and years of fighting it and trying to get good results with zero brush marks etc etc ! I finally broke down and purchased a good quality airless paint sprayer! It solved all my issues. I now purchase high quality only paint and all my paint projects come out amazing! I found out that high quality paint while being more expensive goes a lot further, finishes better and harder! My personal advice is just do it! Buy an airless sprayer and the "good" paint and I promise you that you won't regret it.

Nice info. I'd probably combine the last two options on painting. Use the Wagner Power Painter and then use the brush and or roller to work in the extra paint for good even coverage.

So funny. First day as a painter. My trainer told me to open the can of paint for some samples. Told me to use a car key. Tossed me his truck key. I didn't know any better. Snapped the tip of the key off. Lol.
