@@SprayWayCustoms I agree FULLY. I am a black man that paints from Alabama. I have since moved away from home, but never away from painting. You definitely are on another level with your work and its refreshing to see. You work turns out GREAT because of the care and prep time you put in. It pays off. I paint for a corporate collision center nowadays. If i may help with your ascension, i saw your pearl was a little streaky....not REALLY bad, but i noticed. When shooting your pearls (this will work for metallics too), turn your pressure down to between 16 and 20 psi depending on your reduction. Spray about 18 inches from the car and slower on your action. Overlap about 90%. Walk it out and lay it down the the ssme way you did in this video. You got this bro and im smashing that subscribe button right NOW! Keep up the good work...i will be watching.

I'm trying to learn all I can about paint and bodywork before tackling my big rig that I plan on painting by spring time. Watching you paint this car, I now see why a lot of guys start on the roof of the car first, to avoid brushing up against the freshly painted surfaces on the sides. But everyone has their own techniques. Great work btw. Thank you.
@SprayWayCustoms5 жыл бұрын
Yes that is why I do it but I do it different every time. When you do the sides first and go to the roof you tend to try to reach farther and not knowing how close you is to the car and brush up into it. That's a nightmare...especially with the clear coat.

@SprayWayCustoms5 жыл бұрын
I just used a gallon on this car and I painted everything. You'll be pushing it with 5 quarts because that's a bad feeling to run out. It really depends on the size of the car.
@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism4 жыл бұрын
@@SprayWayCustoms Did you have a full gallon of base to start with, then increased with the activator and reducer or did you use a few quarts that mixed up to a gallon once mixed? I'm about to paint the same size car, even slightly bigger and a kit online comes with a gallon plus a gallon of reducer and a quart of activator. So that mixes up to 2 gallons and should be more than enough, right?
