I work for a local painting company in Halifax, and I can say you taught me a couple things here. Next time I paint a door, I will remember these steps. Work smarter, not harder. Thanks!

What roller do you use?
@dcwoodworks2 жыл бұрын
I vary between what I use but microfibre is my overall favorite and I really dislike foam rollers.

I am actually just planning to do this for the first time today so a very timely video today. Just wondering why you didn't choose to paint the door trim the same colour?
@dcwoodworks3 жыл бұрын
fun! what color are you going to use? I still haven't decided if I am going to for this door. Upstairs I did but its a lighter color. Its in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/laPMY51soJ6hm5Y

@@dcwoodworks I am using "Racoon Furr" by Benjamin Moore. Looks very close to the colour you used. I painted the window trim a colour called Wild Blueberry and I just love how pops of colour add so much to a room.

You don't brush out the stipple/orange peel marks from the roller?
@dcwoodworks3 жыл бұрын
No I’ve never even heard of anyone doing that before to be honest. It dries smooth

no I did, because my skill is better then my assets

@@dcwoodworks The jury is still out on that one. Either way your doing a great job and have an amazing talent. I guess the assets are just a plus.

@@dcwoodworks I understand at least you not thirst trapping for views and actually got talent. Your different from the rest. The sad part is not many people care.and your Chanel will take more time to grow but at least you get to keep your morals.

@@domonickjones6971 thanks. I appreciate that. And glad at least you can see my point of view. I’m raising daughters. It’s way more important to me and I’ll wait for the authentic growth
