I love your little forest of potted Valentine Trees which won't involve climbing ladders to the attic afterwards for the Annual Spider Confrontation Experience! Pretty pink hearts look much prettier with puffy dots and great idea for the protective varnish so future generations can loom their heir with them. Most traditional family owned art shops have all but disappeared here in England too, to be replaced by Hobbycraft who, like Messrs Michaels, also boobytrap their shops with hard to resist goodies making the "keep your head down & head for the checkout" resolution equally impossible ... but we love it really!

😂 Sounds like it’s the same across the pond. Do you all have Valentines trees over there or is it an American thing? I’m so late to the party. Yeah I miss independent art supply stores. If you walk in and it smells like potpourri and candles instead of pigment and turpentine it’s just not right.

Hi Rachel. I've admired your work and learned many useful tips from your videos for a while now-back when your channel was Landon Skye in fact. Recently, your joyful and upbeat videos have become an escape for me since my 8 yr old passed away just ten days ago. Today, from your Etsy shop I ordered ten of the wooden hearts and ten of the snowflakes as well. I'm hopeful that smaller scale projects will pull me out of my deep sorrow and despair for an hour or two in the coming weeks. When I saw this specific project it really struck a chord with me as Hunter was a cardiac patient, who unfortunately did not receive a life saving new heart. I tried finding these cute ornaments online, but was unsuccessful. Maybe they will be available next year? Hearts and heart shaped items will forever remind me of my baby boy. From one mother to another, thank you for keeping me company when I'm suffering and for your happy, exuberant demeanor.

I am the exact same way with Michaels!! 😂 I take a list and try to stick to it....sometimes it works but many times not. I started making air dry clay fairy houses. Yeesh!!! They make really cute night lights.

Love love love this Rachel! So satisfying to watch. I bought a wire Christmas tree this year in Amazon which could be kept up year round and decorated for each season. The tree is made by best choice products. I’m not endorsing their products, I just want to share it because it is a great way to display your work. Crafters who sell their work might be interested in using it as a display at a show.
