I was a technical engineer throughout my working life so everything was controlled to the thousandth of an inch and trying to let go of that has become somewhat a hindrance (I think I’m trying to be too precise). Hi Paul, You are an amazing teacher and started in oils as a teen and then acrylics with some pastels,colored pencil, and watercolor pencil, with few watercolors. Have done a number of watercolors with my painting group and calmer and more comfortable with watercolor. But with your easy calm and encouraging teaching am excited to do watercolor on my own. My mother and I just recently found you here on your youtube channel. We love watching your videos together. My mom has been painting in Watercolour for many years. She is just in love with your style and has enjoyed learning some of your techniques. I recently bought her your book for Mother's Day and we are both enjoying it together. She plans to introduce your book to her watercolour class and teacher. Thank you for all that you do your humor is infectious.
