Hi, great painting. I want to do this for our moms group. I’m looking at the brush sizes but not 100% sure what size flat brushes I need. Is 1/2, 1/4 and 1” the length or width? Also do you have an idea on what size round brushes you used besides the 0? Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply Mary. Hope you ended up painting it. In terms of brushes, You need 1" wide flat brush, 1/2" wide flat brush and as small a round brush (or they're also called detailing brushes) as you can find. Hope that helps!

You're supposed to use blending medium with water for washes or reduce color, mixing with water guarantees that there will be tons of gaps and the paint will crack and chip off later. 🤦‍♀️

Adding too much water can affect the binding agent in acrylic paint. There are various formulas on how much water to paint ratio you should be using . Overall it seems that a 80:20 paint to water ratio a safe mix.
