I'm sort of new to your channel. Just wanted to say I am so admiring your work. The tiger is just AMAZING! Wonderful! I like that it was real time also, with you explaining as you go, it really helps us newbies to watercolor have the courage to try. Thank you so much.

That's amazing I cant wait to try this. Although I wish you would slow down your brush strokes in areas so we can see how you apply the paint to make the stripes. I hope you dont mind me asking x

Hi Lindsey! I'm so glad you want to try this painting! I'm planning on doing a lion's face soon, too! I DO offer full length narrated tutorials (including the tiger!) on my website. It's just like Patreon with a monthly subscription. You're welcome to try it out for a month, and of course cancel any time! Here is the link: courses.emilyolsonart.com/courses/realistic-tiger-face-real-time-tutorial Thanks for your comment! Also, I'm going to check out your channel! I have a Kindergartner and 3 year old (both home of course!) and it looks like you have some great and helpful videos!

I used the mungyo 48 pan set and it worked as well (please no hate if this doesn’t work for you, just a suggestion!) also the whisker technique she used really works! I used uniball gel pens (yet again another suggestion) The brands she uses are great too!

Lovely! Enjoy watching your videos. I have a question regarding transfer paper. In the lighter areas where the transfer may not be completely covered by paint, do you try to erase it? I've used a graphite paper, pressing lightly with a pencil to transfer, but always seem to end up with a graphite image that won't disappear when I'm done painting. Does the paint seal the graphite into the paper? Wanted your opinion about seeing a partial outline on the final painting. Thank you!

Hi Emily..Great looking tiger! looks like it took a while to do! I am wondering 2 things..it seems that most of this was not wet in wet? After u finished a layer, the next layer was not wet but just the brush with paint and water, yes? It came out great...love the eyes too! I am used to wet and wet most times to avoid hard edges..maybe its just according to the subject and style u are going for? Also the unsplash site is free photos to use..Does that mean if I paint one to them, I am able to use as I see, maybe to sell my painting? thanks so much, and keep doing videos like this! so helpful..I like the overhead view best too. You have an amazing talent!
