What's the bird you most like to paint or are asked to paint, *leave me a comment* I would love to know. Don't forget there's plenty more robin videos on my KZbin channel, the rest can be found here: bit.ly/3xilNIe

I live in the southern part of the Northern Rockies in western Montana, on a migratory fly path for many birds. I have raised chickens, turkeys, geese, and ducks. I'd like to paint these birds and also those wild ones that live around me (mallards, Canada geese, magpies, blue herons) and in my barns (swallows, pigeons, sparrows, ravens, humming birds, robins, pileated wood peckers, etc.) There are a large array of raptors I see each day as well: bald eagles, hawks and kestrels; and on rarer occasions, vultures and swans.

Rocheal, thank you so much for your very kind words, it honestly does mean a lot to me to know I have helped you and others out there with this lovely medium of watercolour. Paul 🎨

I've stumbled across your work, and honestly I had no idea you could use watercolor in this way. Amazing!

Hi Paul, thank you for posting this video, the tips are great. I have just started doing pencil crayon art and water colour art birds. I find the pencils easier to control than water colour but I enjoy experimenting to get the different results. I wish I could give up the day job and just do art though. I was thinking of doing a degree in illustration but it’s a daunting prospect !

Glad it was helpful Christine. Yes, working full time as an artist can be a daunting prospect, and you really need to be in a good place in life to be able to simply go for it. This can be one of your future goals. Paul 🎨
