Katie-I've always loved to watch you paint and just purchased your online painting class for impressionistic flowers! I am a beginner and am wondering if I could use a photo of your final painting as my reference as opposed to the photo, or does that defeat the purpose of learning to paint from a realistic photo and turning it into an impressionistic painting? Hi Katie! I think I am Going to paint alongside you today! I also signed up for your mini course! I haven't got the chance to start it yet but will be VERY soon! Dear Katie, do you think it would be ok to use my hog hair brushes while I follow your tutorial, or do you think I should just stick to synthetic? I have been really wanting to try my new brushes out but do not want to if you think it will compromise my outcome of what you are trying to teach me.
