Hey Katie! hope you will find this comment, few years ago when I started painting regularly, I stumbled upon your channel. your tutorials are so calm, easy to understand and abstract that I was waking up so excited everyday to follow one of your tutorials and paint. I must mention till today those paintings are my favorites because of so many emotions attached to them during my learning phase. over the years I have developed my own style and still learning. Katie-I've always loved to watch you paint and just purchased your online painting class for impressionistic flowers! I am a beginner and am wondering if I could use a photo of your final painting as my reference as opposed to the photo, or does that defeat the purpose of learning to paint from a realistic photo and turning it into an impressionistic painting? Hi Katie! I think I am Going to paint alongside you today! I also signed up for your mini course! I haven't got the chance to start it yet but will be VERY soon! Dear Katie, do you think it would be ok to use my hog hair brushes while I follow your tutorial, or do you think I should just stick to synthetic? I have been really wanting to try my new brushes out but do not want to if you think it will compromise my outcome of what you are trying to teach me. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOUR WORK AND YOUR APPROACH ON PAINTING! It makes me feel so carefree and not so??? serious and/or stressed??.. I guess I should say!
