@@onceuponawall-harryanstice2529 We moved in three years ago, I should have started then, but there was a ton of stuff to do first. Roof, doors, floors, gardens etc. Phew, getting there.

@@brianmac8260 We had the same problem so I know just how you feel. We bought our new house in 2018 and I only get to work on it between jobs. We had to start with a new roof as well. A big job but we’re at last seeing the finish line 🙂

Great idea to go horizontal in the middle first. My problem is that I am not sure how much pressure to add to the roller. I see lines of paint.

Valdesgreen Hello. If you apply pressure in the middle. Then release the pressure when you move out to each side, that should insure that you don’t get any lines. Regards H

Hello. I use the same technique for small ceilings. But if it’s a large ceiling I do the same method but in squares starting from a corner usually the right hand corner. And working my way out horizontally. Regards H

@@projectzorgo1085 Hello again. It’s the technique I still use 🙂 I use this method because ceilings tend to dry a little quicker than walls and often tend to reflect more light. These days the quality of ceiling paint is much better. But in the old days when the quality seemed poorer I found this the best technique for a more even finish. In this method has never let me down in all these years. Thank you for writing and watching my video. It means a great deal to me. Maybe it’s time to upload a new video with my ceiling technique. 👍
