I've been painting for a few years and have made much progress. When you say 'be brave and make changes' I couldn't agree more. Letting go of your fear is one of the best ways to move forward in painting. Thanks for all the excellent instruction!

If you use acrylics it will work. You need a few minutes to blend the edges together and acrylics will provide that.

This is oil but you can use additives to acrylic that will slow down the drying time and allow you to blend longer.

Great stuff. What talent and persistence! A wonderful resource for artists. My only suggestions is that you show the model you are painting before commencing the painting. The same can be said for some of your other videos, like the one for painting the lips where you mention the model but do not show her. Is there a reason for this?

Great Video. I am confused about a few things. From the initial splash of color that creates that whimsical boundary line behind her head, to the way that the paint lays down; it appears that you working with a good paper on a flat table? Also are brushes Royal and Langnickle sabel?

It's ok to not use a thinner. People use mediums for different reasons. If you like the viscosity of your paint, just use it without thinner.
