Love how simply she breaks it down. Thanks Eunice.

Eunice, you created such lovely roses that seemed to duplicate nicely what we see in nature. With every stroke you made your roses come alive on paper. Wow! Even the prickly stems of the big rose and the additional 3 dimensional look of the little roses you made were exactly like those roses we would notice if we inspected a rose bush. I enjoyed your lesson. I feel encouraged to try watercolor painting myself beginning with painting roses. Your made it look so simple.

Hi, I’m a beginner watercolor student and my instructor is KZbin! I’m loving my journey and I’m soaking in as much as I can. A big thank you to KZbin instructors like yourselves, because without you, I never would have had the nerve to dip my toe in this mystical medium.

Thank you lovely ladies both so much for sharing your knowledge. I completely agree with Eunice that being patient to get to the next layers can be difficult when I’m enjoying painting. Beautiful roses! 🌹 Good luck with the book. From the quick flip through it looks great.

Oh my goodness Eunice! You make everything look so easy and doable. I am NOT an artist but I love to give things a go. I only have 6 watercolor paints by Cotman but I really struggle with the mixing part and making other colors successfully. I also only have 3 brush sizes so I have been experimenting a lot but need more help with the break down of the steps to get a great result. Your book looks perfect for a full-on amateur like me ;-) xxx Thanks Becca for having Eunice on your show.

Great video, have painted lots of roses or at least tried to, but this is by far the best explained tutorial I’ve seen so far. I am going to practice this one over and over until I can get it looking like something more realistic. Thanks heaps for this video. Renate.

I'm a big gardening fan so some of the other tutorials on simple flower drawings have been so fun and a great outlet during this down time. I am a victim of the COVID layoffs so calligraphy with Becca and drawing has been a great outlet and source of peace. I am looking forward to trying this now as well. Thank you for sharing your gift Eunice!

i’ve been looking for inspiration on what to do for mother’s day, and i really like this! i don’t want to just letter “happy mother’s day” as it seems too plain, so doing a bit of watercolor on the side seems like a good idea. my mom also absolutely loves flowers so i know she’d love it. this was a great tutorial and i can’t wait to try it. thank you so much! 💓💓

Hello from Australia….Thank you Becca and Eunice for sharing your wonderful talents. This year being a milestone birthday for me I decided I wanted to embrace my creative side which has been hidden behind being a daughter, wife, mother and my professional career. To start I searched google and found you Becca and from there my journey has continued. Calligraphy has led to bullet journaling and I have also started painting classes (acrylics) and had just started wondering if I should consider watercolours. I have always loved botanical prints and being from Australia I can’t wait to start on the boomerang stroke! Thank you for enabling my creative journey.
