Really glad to see someone go through a thorough guide for this thing. Still in my first year of modeling and he is intimidating. What did you use to glue him together? There are too many small points to tac and prime then plastic glue. Is it just a generic superglue? Nervous about subassembly and would appreciate any help.
@N3rds0me4 жыл бұрын
Many thanks for your comment and interest. I use plastic glue during the assembling part and I use superglue on the painted parts for all of my miniatures. Plastic glue melts the joints together, therefore it gives a much more secure hold. Superglue helps to keep the painted parts together. However it is always best to use very small amount of both, because overused plastic glue can ruin the mold, and superglue once its dry can leave a white surface between the joints. You can use plastic glue also once it is painted but you need to remove the paint from the joint areas, because plastic glue on paint is not efficient.

Fantastic already! Arkhan is the coolest of the mortarchs in my opinion and you’re doing him justice as ever! My razarak is looking great just from following your guide! Amazing as ever. Also, would a Nagash tutorial be possible?

Amazing to hear that. My opinion is the same, but only after Katakros.:)

Hola from Mexico!! Love your tutorials!! Your paint job is wow!! Have a question, a silly one lol, are you using the paint out of the pots or thining them ? Using 2 thin coats? I'm going to follow your videos to paint mine and had that question....
@N3rds0me4 жыл бұрын
Hello, that's great! Yes I do thin my paints, and as our Lord of 2 thin coats I follow that rule.^^ Usually I thin them with water, but I also use Lahmian medium for some of the washes too.

Thank you very much, I am glad you like it. It is going to be a bit trickier and a bit more time consuming, but still manageable.:)

Hello, I really like your tutorials, however it seems you use citadel glazes a lot, i tried to get them but seems they are discontinued. Any clue what to use instead of that?
@N3rds0me4 жыл бұрын
Hello there, many thanks for you comment. I usually use in my videos Waywatcher Green glaze. You can use either moot green heavily watered down 1:9 mix or Biel Taan green wash mixed with lahmian medium, 1:3 mix should do the trick. I personally recommend the Biel Taan green wash, it give a nice green tone to the models.
