Great video. Suggestion for some on demand content - Advanced techniques eg. Blending, stippling, glazing etc. Maybe your Freeview video to tack the advertisement onto could be basic techniques like edge highlights and drybrushing etc

I like the level of Black on the model. I don't remember Black Primer making it so cool so I've always done a wash over it to get a deeper black. Did you do any washes or thinned black over top of the primer?

This is awesome thanks so much for this i might now change my painting recipie based off these colours! Two questions - 1) Most guides go from thunderhawk blue to fenrisian grey for the armour highlights - did you find the dark reaper adds a significant volume to the black highlights? 2) I love the Retributior / Stormhost mix but I'm never a massive fan of mixing colours for consistency reasons. Is the overall colour similar to Liberator gold (could this be used for edge highlights?) or is it for coverage reasons that the mix works better? Thanks in advance!!

you can get consistent mixes by using dropper bottles

What is your thought process behind priming black and painting the gold in two coats over the trim, as opposed to priming in gold, dry-brushing silver, and then painting the black? Does it come down to personal preference, or do you believe this method to be superior?

You can be rough with the gold and silver, and fix it easily with black. Black basecoat generally will hide "mistakes" or "unpainted" areas a little easier. End of the day though, everything should be personal preference, or whatever you find to be the best method. There is no wrong or right way to paint. Just experiment different ways to see what you like most. It takes time, but the practice makes the end results much more worthwhile for yourself.

1st advice. DO NOT USE CITADEL PAINTS. its overpriced and some are really awful :/
