Your content is severely underrated, the quality of your videos is supreme, the lack of likes and subs is a shame, you deserve to be a huge channel

Hey thanks so much for the support and feedback 😀 the great news is that the channel is still quite new and it’s growing each day with new viewers coming across. For now though, you get to say that you were here from the beginning 😎

How something so soft and fluffy like a sponge to paint something chaotic like a Khorne Beserker works so well is beyond me! Awesome work!
@flashingbadgerpainting8 ай бұрын
Haha 😆 such an aggressive model. Next time I should splatter it with gore as well

Absolutely nailed it, Khorne just needs a cuddle! 🤣

This is absolute perfection. Where/what kind of sponges do you use, and would you be willing to do a how-to on stippling and how you use the sponge? My eyesight isn't what it use to be and I'd like a closer view on your technique.

Hello mate! Thanks so much for reaching out. I paint my Blood Angels in this same style so i recommend you take a look at those videos as well. You will get some close up looks and more info on the process. Also the sponge I’m using is the pluck packing foam extras I have from miniatures cases, blister packs etc 👍

@@flashingbadgerpainting Excellent, I shall do just that! I only have the Duncan Rhodes paint collection at the moment. Do you know the 1:1 Duncan to Army Painters conversion is? I.E., do you know which Two Thin Coats I can use to supplement for Army Painters?
@roberthenry4247 ай бұрын
Dangit I already built half my Berzerkers and I already glued on the backpacks. Haven't put the heads on though! This looks really cool, I've never tried anything like this but I want to give it a go.

Unreal! 😀 have fun with them and let me know how you go 😎

@@flashingbadgerpainting Well I've got my ten Berzerkers assembled, and two of my Eightbound (without armor on yet). These paints aren't released where I live yet so I'm waiting for that. (I'll just use my own browns and stuff and I want to do the metal trim with brass, but I really want the same reds you used, they look awesome.) When I do get there I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you very much for posting this, videos like this are always a great help!!

@@flashingbadgerpainting Hey!! So the local game store just got the paints in and I picked up the black and all the reds, but I didn't catch which brown you used right after the black undercoat?
@flashingbadgerpainting4 ай бұрын
From memory it was the darkest brown (there are two similar ones so you can’t really go wrong) and 50/50 mix that with the black 👍

@@flashingbadgerpainting Oh man, thank you! And sorry for the slow reply. :P I grabbed Tree Ancient so we'll see how it goes! I've got a second box of Berzerkers to put together and some holiday coming up in June so we'll see if I can achieve my goal of painted dudes!

Im about to build a World Eater army...i think this style is how im going to proceed. Thanks for the very easy to follow and well put together tutorial. One question, do you use a new rip of sponge for each color? Or blend them in a little together
@flashingbadgerpainting5 ай бұрын
Thanks Adam! I rotate the small piece around in the tweezers so that it's using a fresh corner each time. I do this more so that the sponge texture is fresh rather than worrying about the colours blending I think 🤔 Have fun with the World Eaters!

God don’t tell me this is another Mandela Effect situation I’m experiencing, but I always thought all of Ol’ Angry’s boys were red trimmed in a coppery gold

any amazon recommendations for the packing foam/sponge to use? I haven't really gotten the look right with dish sponges. 😥
@flashingbadgerpainting8 ай бұрын
Hey! I’ve been using the foam from blister packs of models or the packing foam in mini trays like the citadel or KR multicase ones. If you play around on eBay and Amazon you should see something similar 😀

I really like your style. How long did it take you to finish this model?
@flashingbadgerpainting8 ай бұрын
Hey thanks so much! This model would have taken me around 3 - 4 hours but I’m a proper slow painter. Now that I’ve painted one like this I’m confident I could do a whole squad batch painted in probably 6 - 8 hours if that helps
