Thank you for watching. I think the bone golems have become my favorite models in the game. They are a joy to paint and so cool to see on the tabletop.

Wtf!!! Is very big miniature😍😍 i love old dominion and the divinity fallen

The Old Dominion are very cool. This golem kit has to be my favorite in the army for sure. The Fallen divinity is not very far behind them though.

Very appealing models makes me want to order some incarnate sentinel for my spire army to see more large models in game.

Do it!!! I would love to see some Sentinels running around.

Built my first golem last night and damn what a fine kit. Imagine my surprise when I noticed that we get some arm options ;D

I was in the same boat when I started building mine. I didn't expect the arms to be as customizable as they are.

I struggled with the arms and the fact that the big one with the skulls was hollow made it so hard to pin
@TheMiniatureManager2 жыл бұрын
@@tobylancaster3418 I had to use fast drying super glue when building mine. Specifically, I used Loctite. It does require you to know what pose you want in advance.

@@TheMiniatureManager I’m trying your method for the painting but really struggling with having white in the shadows instead of black, I think for me personally a zenithal would be a better way to go because you get a shadow colour underneath the model and between the legs where it’s super hard to paint
@TheMiniatureManager2 жыл бұрын
@@tobylancaster3418 everyone has their own way to paint. I am not sure I understand exactly what you are struggling with based on what you said but I will gladly chat with you about it if you so desire.

Is there variety if you have more than three? What were they like to build? I found the legionaries a bit harder than I am used to, pinning spear hands and the shields attach different to what I’m used to. I am an ex GW fan so maybe I’m a bit mommy-coddled with figure building?

The kit has some variety. There are the three core body poses but the arms are ball and socket joints at the shoulder and elbow. The kit comes with 5 options for the club arm and 4 options for the blade arm. Each model has three plates on the front. the large one that functions as the "face" of the model then two smaller plates that go to either side. Those plates are all interchangeable and there are a couple extra ones in the kit so you can make each golem look different. I found that when posing the arms super glue worked better than the plastic glue I normally use. Conquest certainly has a different kit design style than GW kits. Once you build enough models you get used to them and become able to build faster and with less mistakes.

Agreed, I struggled with the arms of this model, and also the shield were a massive pain, the lack of a connection point between the arms and the shields was rough
@TheMiniatureManager2 жыл бұрын
@@tobylancaster3418 Yeah, shields in conquest basically just free float on the arms. I use super glue on them too.

I love the videos, wondered where in the UK you buy from?

I live in the USA so I am afraid I don't have any good store referrals for you. However, the para bellum website has a store finder page that shows all the retailers that carry the game. I would recommend using the link bellow to find the store closest to you. www.para-bellum.com/store-locator/

On Table top is the best and cheapest UK stockist for this.
