I did my first mandala art by copying this video! Great tutorial! It's really not that hard just takes a little bit of practice. I realized how important it is to follow the measured out guidelines. At first my dot from the cotton Qtip wasn't making a full dot. But then I realized I did paint down the fuzzies on the cotton. After that it worked great! I love doing this! Very pretty and fun! I'll definitely be following more of your tutorials

Don't get me wrong, in the Dot Art Depot, I do have the BEST tool set with a full 16 size range, but for starters, this will get your foot in the door into dot painting. Enjoy!

The BEST basic tutorial and pattern for a beginner! I have been eyeing this technique and wanting to try it for a couple of months. I bought pots of herbs and decided that I NEEDED to paint this on them! I learned SO MUCH just by doing it myself with inexpensive tools and cheap paints. The first of five is finished!
