I have to say: In the same way I am delighted by the sound of the paint brush swirling in a rinse water and clinking on the jar, so am I equally drawn in by the scratching of the pen on the paper as you put the finishing touches on your watercolor! @@DianeAntoneStudio My class was yesterday and it turned out more beautifully than expected. It was a small group of about eight, which is what the space allowed for, so it was a sold out event. They all loved painting the flower vases and each person went home with a set of cards. They said they were excited to check out your channel. Some do KZbin, some do not, but whomever decides to view your channel will be in for a real treat!

Your orchid will flower again, just put it somewhere not too sunny for 8 or more weeks, watering when necessary and it will then produce buds and you will have more flowers to enjoy.

Oh I wish I was nearby to help with your orchids!! I have 10, first started with them four years ago. Mine bloom for 3 to 4 months (sometimes longer) then the blooms drop. Just clip the flower stem off below the lowest bud ... it might send out new growth from that stem. Or it might not and if it turns yellow just clip it off near the bottom. Set the plant in a bright area, not direct sun, and water every 7-10 days Make sure to Drain Well!! Do not let water stand in the crown. In the jungle they get rained on but are growing sideways so water drains off It might take a couple of months but soon you'll see a new leaf coming up or a new flower stem. I will edit this to send you a link of some good easy orchid advice. also thanks for this relaxing art - sending to my son who is very stressed in his engineering job and needs to relax. He used to enjoy art in school so I invited him to create this painting, I'll even loan him my Kuretake paint!

If you cut if the long stems of the orchid about an inch above one of the little nodules along the stem and water it once a week (not too much). Keep it near a window but not in bright sun. Eventually you will see a new stem and little buds will come soon after!
