when using the air brush with the fenrisian grey, how do you dilute it for the air brush?

So I use airbrush medium from the army painter it’s about £5 for a big bottle. Normally I go 60/40 in favour of the medium. But I only airbrush it am because I had a few models to do

Does the screamer pink come before or after the contrast paint? Also how long did you leave the grime on before removing?

Hiya I put the down the screamer pink after the metallics and brown so I can work the pink into those edges. Grime normally dries enough to start with it after about 30/45mins. Is looks very matt when it’s dry, but if you can start removing it with the spirit when it’s still a little tacky. You can also leave it hours to dry if you so wish. When removing it I highly recommend the little sponges 🧽 . Another question I always get it do I varnish then and does the paint come off. I personally don’t varnish them. The only time I have had paint come off is it I’m using something abrasive to remove the grime like a cheap cotton bud. Hope this helps. Dan

Very nice models. Do you recommend varnishing before you grime? Or does it hold up without it?

It does hold up if you use the little make up sponges I think they are £4 for 50 on Amazon🧽 cotton buds I find are abrasive and cause issue. I’d say AK ultra Matt varnish before the metallics as it makes them super dull. The vanish will always be more helpful. Gives you more time working the spirit/thinner.
