You should have at least 100k subscribers! You make amazing videos with amazing quality. I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for your hard work 😃

Thank you so much for such a nice comment. Epic is quite obscure but it’s a niche that doesn’t have too much love. I intend on proving myself in this small niche first and showing subscribers I’m worth subscribing to and later I will expand into larger topics once I have established myself in the Epic and speciality field. I’m sure the subscribers will come when I move into broader appeal avenues. But for now I’ll stick with all the Epic stuff that I have to paint. Thank YOU for joining me on this journey.

Ahhh, Epic. Among one of the best games GW ever made, alongside Mordheim and Necromunda. Nice tutorial. Any chance to see this paint scheme scaled up to 30mm models?

No problem. I only have my own model which I know how I want to paint and sadly none of them are a full scale leman Russ. But I have painted a leman Russ in this scheme before and it’s all the same as this tutorial.

I love your final looks and I love the quality of filming, lighting etc. but… I’m curious why you’d go to so much effort to do the panel lining with acrylic, when you’ve got an airbrush to add a gloss coat, and at that point oils take something like 5-10% of the time acrylics do, and they look better? Regardless, do love the channel, inspiring for my titan bases!
@BUNKER62 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I actually tried the oil technique on one of the tanks and for some reason it did not turn out good. Very disappointed. I have done oil washes in other models and it was great. Not in this case. So I buy the bullet and just chipped away at the long method. I just need more practice I think. Appreciate the feedback though!

@@BUNKER6 it's desert, so we need a sort of north African ww2 style terrain - outcrops, orchards, boxy houses, desert highway/railroad, couple of hills and something very 40k to contrast it and prevent it from looking like flames of war.

The old ork buildings come to mind. They looked like they belonged in a desert.

It’s an out of print Forgeworld tank. They stopped making them around 2004. But you can find them on eBay. A set of three are up right now I think.
