I do something simular, but with a zenithal spray of mehpiston red from above over black. It creates a similar effect with a 1/4 of the time. I then add the higher reds towards the top and finish with a shade to bring it all togeher. Great video btw.

Are you doing wet contrasting?! You’ve got so many contrasting layers on the red army I couldn’t tell. Looks awesome - I’ll try to use this on my new Korne Army

Sort of! It's not quite wet blending, though on my palette the mix is quite watered down

Still can't decide on gold, black, or red undercoat!

I'm trying this scheme atm. Tbh black is probs your best bet if you're fully gonna go for all the layering and transitions. But if you're gonna do less layers I'd say choose red or gold. Good luck, it's been a learning curve for me haha
