@@badlsxgarage I want to spray paint the top cheap plastic air vent cover on my new 2024 HD RG CVO ST but I do not have the guts to do it... Can't believe they put on that cheap matte plastic on a 50K+ bike...Any suggestions?

@@OnyxCVO I wrapped mine with carbon fiber vinyl from ORilleys auto parts. They have vinyl that looks pretty good. Not some cheap knock off. Maybe check that out.

Thank you very much for watching. I used 1.5 cans. I covered them several times. I used 1 full can of clear. One could get away with just one can of each. Really all depends on how thick you want it. Hope that helps! 👍✌️

I just ordered and made arrangements to have them sprayed along with the chin guard. Hope it fits with the flat out bar. I see they are cut out at the bottom. I’ll see before I send them out

I’m pretty sure they will fit. They do have the cut out, and if I’m not mistaken the Road Glide CVO St has the flat out bar with the extensions. It changes the looks, I love it! 👍✌️

i just did color rite in blue burst for my king tour pack and i barely had enough but i made it work.. I did cut and buff and polished and looks show quality and woulndt know it came from a can hahah and saved me 1400 bucks!!!!

Wow!!! You did stretch it out! Lol. Good for you! I used 2 cans on my chopped tour pack. Color Rite paint isn’t cheap, but it’s cheaper than 1,400 for sure! 👍✌️

@@8242anthony Go to google and put in Color Rite. It will take you to a their website. Or go to eBay, type in Harley Davidson Whiskey fire paint, and Color Rite will show up on there as well.

Is priming necessary? I've gotten mixed answers. A ColorRite rep told me to remove the clear coat and I can paint over the of paint, no primer. Your thoughts?

You can honestly do it either way. I feel like that it’s a little more protection with primer, but there is nothing wrong with either way.

There two spray nozzles included with the color rite aerosol can, red cap and regular black with yellow nose. Which one would be better to use?

@@chrisjaskolka2907 they are different spray pattern nozzles. They just recently started doing that. I personally like the all black nozzle.
