Nice video . The figurines looks great ! I love your work on the dress . Good job . Your diorama about the spartans and the persian done 7 years ago kept my attention as well as I used to create historic dioramas . Glad to discover your channel and subscribe to it .

Thank you! These figures in this scale are always really fun to paint and despite their size you can do so much with them. I am a history lover myself especially military history lately I've been busy just doing commissions but I want to get back to doing more pre historic as well as historical dioramas too. Awesome video, May I ask, what is the color called that you used on the little boys pants/,jeans, TY

Thank you, for the dark "denim" I used dark sea blue from Vallejo amd for the light "denim" I used sky blue also from Vallejo. And just in case you want to know how I got it to look like that, just simply dilute the paints like washes and apply them. Once the first layer dries add more paint in the crevices do darken them and give that natural Jean look.

Hey. Do you mind if I ask you a question..? How do you know when to cover the entire miniature with a wash and when to just fill in the darker, more revessed areas instead of the whole thing..? Thank you..!

In simplest terms, it all depends on how you are the painter want it to look. I generally add more wash in the shadow areas of a model to create the effect of light source hitting all the raised areas.
